7 of Shanghai's Weirdest Coffees

2017-08-24 ShanghaiWOWeng

Are you getting tired of those bland morning coffees? Are you ever yearning for a thick piece of bacon stickign out of your mug? Here are some of the weirdest coffees you can try in Shanghai, and of course, where you can get them.

Pandan Black Coffee

Peepo Cafe

It’s called Peepo because it located right smack in the middle of People's Square. Their coffee beans come from from local farmers of Indonesia and are baked in their own factory.

The most famous cup you can get is Pandan Black Coffee, mixed with espresso and pandan syrup. It’s a strange tropical coffee that is actually quite good and great for a refreshing summer drink.

Another cup that is just as famous in Peepo is their bacon coffee. Do these two things mix well? Opinions vary widely so you'll just have to go find out for yourself.
