A month of fun events coming up this September including Photofairs Shanghai, Zhang Hai’er and Qin Yifeng exhibitions. Also, for fans of photography, look forward to the upcoming major photography exhibition starring works by Antony Gormley, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot and Yves Netzhammer. The Expat Show

Antony Gormley: Still Moving

Gormley’s first exhibition in Shanghai, the exhibition’s centerpiece is the Lost Horizon II (1995), which showcases 60 different human sculptures placed in different positions and angles. Modern China Art Collection: Li Shan

A biology-themed art exhibition, and the first of its kind in the city, this exhibition will showcase 2 installations on life, and the rest on Li Shan’s approach towards biology, through his drawings, writings and records. 


Qin Yi Feng Exhibition

Qin Yi Feng’s first negative film works exhibition, Qin first established his unique “field line” photography style in 1992, which he later improved upon through the incorporation of spatial and visual elements.

Zhang Hai’er: Bad Girls

New Scotland Modern Art Exhibition

Yves Netzhammer: Refurnishing Thoughts, Qiu Anxiong: The Mirage of Mountains and Seas
