The US Orange Theory Fitness franchise has moved into Shanghai, about to make its debut to the public. A group personal training workout, and you’ll never do the same workout twice. Your heart-rate will be monitored during high-intensity intervals, and you can expect burn 500-1,000 calories in 60 minutes. Stay tuned for opening dates, prices, and how to sign up.

For all you Torque fans – Torque is no more. Habi’s transformed it into the new Primal6, an unconventional circuit of full body muscular endurance. The classes combine tools like Kettlebells, Clubbells, and Macebells to give you a functional training, high impact, and high intensity experience. You’ll also be focusing on movement meditation, or being mindful of your movements and control.

SpaceCycle

SpaceCycle, with locations in Beijing and Taipei, has moved into Shanghai offering insane spinning classes, as well as barre and yoga sessions. The spinning classes are massive with booming music, laser lights, and sometimes a live DJ. They have six different workout rooms, and fully equipped locker rooms.
