Tourism Australia and mr willis & co. have partnered up, under Restaurant Australia, to bring the best of Australia’s food and wine offerings to China this October. The special themed menu will be offered in nine of mr willis & co.’s restaurants in Shanghai.

Craig Willis, an iconic Australian chef behind Shanghai’s favorite fine dining spots, will present the essence of Australian dinning with fresh Australian produce and ingredients, innovative flavors and wines that are the envy of the world. During this partnership, the 9 restaurants in the mr willis & co family of restaurants - mr willis, HENKES, BANG, Mi Thai, Pelikan, Sushi Raku, Amokka, La Strada – will present signature beef dishes, made with the freshest beef from free-range, herbivorous and grain-fed cattle in Australia. The dishes will reflect the respective restaurant’s cuisine while embodying Craig Willis’ dedication to simplicity, and paired with Australian wines.

Craig Willis and 8 chefs from mr willis & co to present October Australia themed menu in Shanghai
Craig Willis hails from Casino, a town in the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales, Australia. He is no stranger to cooking with fresh produce having grown up spending time in the family kitchen helping to cook with ingredients from the garden. Having spent a decade training at iconic Sydney restaurants under the masters of modern Sydney cuisines and stints on Lord Howe Island, he opened mr willis in Shanghai in 2009. Since then, he has changed the face of Shanghai’s dining scene with several popular restaurants, such as mr willis and Henkes, bringing authentic, modern Australian flavors to diners, served family style.
