Shanghai’s cold weather is the perfect excuse to stay home and order meals (although, do we need an excuse?). But did you ever wonder what the most popular delivery items are? Lucky you, we’ve got the list, Shanghai’s top 10 most popular delivery foods in 2017. 


No. 10

Yangzhou Fried Rice(扬州炒饭)



Ahhh Yangzhou Fried Rice, no surprise here. Egg fried rice and seasonal vegetables stir fried to perfection, it's a winner every time.



No. 9

Rou Jia Mo (肉夹馍)



Anything that resembles a hamburger is bound to do well during colder months, so it’s another no-brainer that rou jia mo is the number 9 most popular delivery item. The common street food item combines freshly baked buns with flavorful, caramelized meat slices.

Poached Spicy Pork Slices (水煮肉片)



During the lunar new year, this is a common staple at the dinner table. The fiery red soup is often filled with bean sprouts, vegetables, huajiao, dried chili and bean sauce. Usually served drizzled with oil and topped with spring onion and huajiao, it will warm the body and soul.
