Another famous street appears to be on the chopping block. This time around it’s Shouning Lu, known to many as ‘the crayfish street’ or ‘that late-night seafood street.’
Reports that the street will be torn down soon come from the WeChat account 上海好白相. We called to ask several of the restaurants whether the reports were true and many of them told us "probably."

The small strip, wedged between Xizang Nan Lu and Zhonghua Lu, is known for selling a variety of seafood, especially crayfish, well into the night. The street underwent a crackdown over a year ago as many of the street side vendors and outdoor seating areas were removed.
You’d better swing by for some beers, crayfish and cool photos soon because it might not be around much longer.
