Second Joy City Now Open Along Suzhou River
As if one Joy City wasn’t enough, number two is now open right along the Suzhou river. They’ve got all sorts of things to check out, from their rooftop running track to their Lego Discover Park. The 120,000sqm commercial hub houses over 200 brands, while combining modern architecture with the surrounding nature. Here’s the full rundown of what you can expect.
Nature Mall?
‘Beautiful’ might not be the first word that comes to mind when you think of malls, but this one is quite an exception. The mall is wedged between Changfeng Park on the left and Suzhou river on the right.
The 120,000㎡, 5-floor space has adopted an immersive Garden theme, combining natural settings within the mall itself.
The mall has over a thousand parking spaces, so shoppers will not have to worry when driving here. Additionally, shoppers can easily access the mall with Line 2 and 13, and in 2020, the mall will have its very own subway stop on Line 15, ‘Changfeng Park stop.’
4 Main Zones
Instead of sectioning it per level, the mall is sectioned to cater to four main target audiences and needs – fashion, female and lifestyle, food heaven, athletics and reading.
Social and Entertainment
Located in the mall’s B1 – L1 section, the chain store area features numerous popular fashion brands like Uniqlo, Hot Wind, H&M and more.
Queen’s Lane
The second area is ‘Queen’s Lane,’ a female-focused area for women to relax and recharge.
From handicraft to the bookstore, popular e-commerce brand stores and more, get all you need here.
The area also has an experiential zone called Herstory, which brings in many designer brands, and caters to women.
Food Heaven
Offering over 60 dining brands, including Agatha Café, Nai Xue Cha and more.
Rooftop exercising spot
The trendy exercise space was designed by a top-notch design agency, re-inventing what an exercise space can look like.
Osaka Air Runway Department Store
Enjoy the beautiful garden views while exercising here. These tracks are definitely not for the faint-hearted or those afraid of heights.

Currently, the area is still under construction and is said to be opened in September of this year. The 1km running track follows a creative path, featuring brands like Harley Davidson, Nike, Adidas, Skechers and more.
The entire area is termed the ‘athletics and library area’ as it will be a great place to unwind and read as well.
