DiDi's New Shared Bike Debuts in Shanghai
If you live in either district of Jiading or Anting, you might have already noticed new shared bikes positioned around the block. This blue-ish/mint colored bike is none other than the Qingjiu Bike, a new bike-sharing name rolled out by DiDi Chuxing.

Unlike other bike-sharing companies, users do not need to put in an initial deposit. Instead, you need to have a good credit score on Alibaba's Zhima system to begin riding.

DiDi Chuxing is the largest shareholder in China's biggest bike-sharing operator Ofo, but the two have drifted apart due to disgreements over operations. Consequently, DiDi bought cash-strapped Bluegogo and launched its own brand Qingju to wade into China's bike-sharing battle.
Thankfully, Shanghai's urbanites won't need to worry about more bikes hitting the streets as the Shanghai Transport Commission has prohibited new brands from enterihng downtown areas. Qingju staff have ensure that their new bikes have their own maintenance team and that any bike operating outside the district will be returned to Jiading.
