Hey Boss, We'd Like to Move to This Office!

ShanghaiWOWeng 2018-12-02

We came across a digital graffiti wall depicting fantastic office interior a downtown metro station a few days ago, where tons of beautiful pictures and interactive videos will make you green with envy!

Totally amazed by this super-long metro advertisement!

Working in a 5A office building overlooking the Huangpu River with elegant décor where you can sip coffee in a well-lit bar, attend a meeting in a garden patio, take a quick nap in special sleeping pods and even go to the gym for a workout before calling it a day. That's the dream, no?

But it can be more than just a figment of your imagination. The digital graffiti found on this wall is actually an advertisement for Mixpace. So, if you're getting tired of your office, send this article to your boss and ask to move!

Mixpace·Carlowitz

Work in a 120-year-old building

Mixpace·Carlowitz is located in the exotic building clusters in the Bund, renovated from 120-year-old historical building of Carlowitz & Co. It retains the original lunettes, walls and steel window frames. Combining elegant historical elements with modern life styles, Mixpace·Carlowitz boasts a unique classic appeal.

Covering an area of 4,500sqm, the building sets the third and fourth floors as the main office space while the majority of the fifth floor is used as a public space. The arch structure can be likened to the orderly rows of fishbones, and give the venue a sense of order overall.

It's a complex space that combines drawing room, tea room, display area and exhibition area and the smooth curves of the dome and minimal décor add a modern finish to the historical building.

The corridor is lit by a warm yellow light that connects the old brick walls with the hall - 100-year-old brick walls that have witnessed the ups and downs of history.

Ascend the petal-shaped stairs and you will reach a hanging oval office, where we imagine brainstorming could be made even better!

You can take elevators to go down to the office area on the third and fourth floor from the fifth floor. But we would rather take the stairs.

The wooden stairs of the last century will bring you back to Old Shanghai, an era full of mystery and adventures.

Members of Mixpace can set up a facial recognition function on the Mixpace app, which will allow you to walk straight through into the member area without using an entrance card or having to enter a fingerprint. The doors will magically open as you walk out of the elevator.

Instead of facing cramped concrete jungle all day, you can look out on the large grassy areas in front of Holy Trinity Church whenever you get bored.

Mixpace·Mandela

And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.

Mixpace·Mandela is another model office building that was transformed from an abandoned rivet factory. The most impressive part of it is the huge central spiral staircase straight into roof. To let light in, they drilled a hole on the floors to the roof and as a result the ever-changing pattern of light and shadow adds a lot of aesthetic appeal to the space.

This bold design idea is adopted to improve the poor lighting condition of the original factory building. They drilled a large hole on the second, third and fourth floors and also changed the roof into dome, thus enabling the light to go in. They then built a spiral staircase straight into the top floor.

It also retains some elements of the original building - old brick walls and pieces of furniture give you a nostalgic feel.

The mix of old and new will bring you lots of inspirations!

Apart from the signature giant spiral staircase, Mixpace·Mandela also has a public area that can accomodate 70 people at the same time, and a large garden patio where you can have a good relax while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

It also has a well-equipped fitness center with all kinds of fitness facilities. You can turn left to the fitness center after work, have a good workout, and take a shower before going home.

Feeling like a cup of coffee? MXPRESSO, the coffee bar, is always there for you.

The attic sleeping area is designed for those who take midday naps and those who have to work overnight under certain circumstances. There is a slide bridging the sleeping area and the office, so you can start your afternoon work with an exciting slide experience that brings you back to childhood.

Mixpace·Taiping

Work in Lujiazui CBD is no longer a dream!

If you work for a small business with a group less than 20 people, do you ever dream of working in Lujiazui’s skyscrapers, like Shanghai World Financial Center or Shanghai Tower?

Now Mixpace will make your dream come true! Mixpace·Taiping, covering an area of 5,500sqm, is Mixpace’s first core 5A office building project in Shanghai. It lies in the center of Lujiazui, less than 100m away from Shanghai Tower, SWFC and IFC. If you have high requirements about the design, location and service of office building, Mixpace·Taiping is definitely your first option!

Many small and medium businesses succumb to the astronomical rent in Shanghai when having to rent half a floor when considering settling in an office in Lujiazui. However, Mixpace·Taiping allows you to rent just a workstation. Even if your company has just two people, you can still work in a well-equipped and fancy IFC coffee.

Click on your phone and the door will open for you. No need for an entrance card.

The luxurious lobby will fool you into thinking that you are in Fortune 500.

The warm-colored suspended ceiling pairs well with wooden tables and chairs - simple and elegant.

Not only does it have a large public area, there are also wide corridors into the office areas with great lighting that will work to lift your mood.

There are lots of seats in the public area that will let you give your eyes a break from the screen and gaze upon Lujiazui's big landmarks instead.

Mixpace members can use the fitness center for free here too.

They can even work in bed!

Mixpace·Taiping has super comfortable sleeping area. Besides midday naps, you can also sleep here overnight during those days you have to work extra long and hard.

Since its inception in July 2016, Mixpace has owned 17 high-quality co-working office spaces in Shanghai and Beijing. It combines smart office systems with aesthetic office space, making it possible for countless young people from high-quality start-ups to work in a more decent way. The latest move is that Miyu will launch a highly anticipated joint office project, Miyu West Bank, on the Xuhui Riverside. The reconstruction of historic preserved buildings on the Bund, Miyu Fengzai, has also entered trial operation.

Mixpace·Westbund

Because you can't call yourself successful without an office overlooking a river, right?

The portrayal of a successful person in Shanghai is often seen through the depiction of a man or woman standing against a large glass curtain and gazing upon the slowly flowing Huangpu River, with a glass of wine in hand.

Longteng Avenue, Xuhui Riverside

Miyu·Westbund is located in CES West Bund Center, only about 600 meters away from Huangpu River. It overlooks the shoreline of Huangpu River, which is 8.4 kilometers long, with a best view of the city skyline.

Soft colors pair well with the warm wooden frame, adding a cozy tinge to the the industrial-style ceiling.

Modern and minimal full-glass curtain walls not only improve the lighting, but also provides better fields of vision.

It is said that the space will maintain a constant temperature, humidity, and oxygen levels in the future, alongside the internal configuration that will be in-line with world-class commercial landmark building. What excuses do we have to slack off in such an environment?

Mixpace·Skyscraper

A mix of modern and history

An aerial view from 1948

Mixpace·Skyscraper is a new masterpiece of Miyu, located in the Bund golden area, adjacent to the Hengfeng Building of Nanjing Dong Lu CBD. The original building was built in 1931, located in the Bund historic preservation zone.

Miyu·Skyscraper

Mixpace·Skyscraper has the atmosphere of both decadence and prosperity. The unique roof windows are created on the basis of broken floor slabs. You can feel the present clash with the past; modern Shanghai in past decades.

The curve of the staircase, plus the use of transparent glass, breaks the monotonous traditional horizontal layout forms as well as enriches the space level.
