All You Need to Know About the COVID-19 Epidemic in Shanghai

Don’t Miss the Last Train
Shentong Metro Group stated that in order to better control the epidemic and ensure sufficient time for nighttime cleaning and disinfection, the extended operating hours of Line 1, 2, 7, 9, 10 and 13 are canceled temporarily from March 18, which means the operating hours of above lines now end earlier. Stated by Shanghai’s Deputy Secretary General
At the press conference held on March 15, Gu Honghui, Shanghai’s deputy secretary general said “We have not locked down the city, and we don’t have to do that now.” Instead of a citywide lockdown, Shanghai is delimiting several key areas based on the regional risk levels and taking the “twice nucleic acid tests within 48 hours” action in key areas.
At present, anyone who wants to leave or enter Shanghai must have a negative nucleic acid test report from within 48 hours.

On March 17, there were 57 locally transmitted cases and 203 local asymptomatic cases confirmed in Shanghai.
On March 16, there were 8 locally transmitted cases and 150 local asymptomatic cases confirmed in Shanghai.
On March 15, there were 5 locally transmitted cases and 197 local asymptomatic cases confirmed in Shanghai.
