43 Shanghai parks are now open 24 hours a day
Now the weather in Shanghai is at that blissful (if brief) point between sub-arctic and blistering hot, Shanghai Green and Urban Management Centre's news that it will be extending the opening hours of over 100 parks comes as music to our already sunscorched ears. According to the release, the centre will extend the hours of 76 parks throughout the year and open 43 parks round the clock.
Grab your picnic blanket and head down your nearest 24 hour park to bask in the heat till sunset (or sunrise, even):

Jingan district (6) Pengpu Park, Jiaotong Park, Guangchang Park, Zhongxing Greenland, Butterfly Bay Garden, Buyecheng Park
Minhang district (2) Shuangyong Park, Maqiao Park
Xuhui district (3) Xujiahui Park, Caohejing Development Zone Park, Xiangyang Park
Baoshan district (1) Baoshan Riverside Park
Changning district (5) Yanhong Greenland, Hongqiao Park, Huashan Greenland, Haisu Greenland, Zhongshan Park
