White Castle is releasing a jianbing slider this weekend

It's been a year (give or take) since White Castle opened its doors here in Shanghai and it seems they're acclimatising to life in China pretty well, having announced the impending release of their Jianbing Sausage Slider.

That's right, a jianbing in a burger. You know jianbing, right? One of those but in a burger.

White Castle will be launching its culinary innovation (?) at a special party at its Maoming Lu location this coming Saturday 21, along with a selection of new menu items including a bacon and egg cheese slider, a truffle slider (Harold and Kumar gettin' fancy AF), a crispy shrimp with cheese slider and a couple of ice cream sliders.

The party, Jianbing in the Jungle (yes, that is what it's called) will feature live DJs, an MC, a prize giveaway, a photo booth and more. There is also an animal print dress code, of course... Entrance is free with RSVP to their WeChat (ID: whitecastle1921).

The star of the show (as far as we're concerned, anyway) seems pretty set to be the jianbing slider, which we're reliably informed will cost you 12.50RMB.
