If the 150RMB ticket price for 'Rain Room' been putting you off from seeing it, there's now a special pass that will save you a pint while throwing on some more value. The Art 24 Hours pass will run you 118RMB for an early bird ticket, and starting this coming Saturday 26 May, it'll get you entry into over 40 participating Shanghai art galleries and museums for 24 hours.

The only way to buy a pass is by extracting the circle-QR code below. It's all in Chinese, but fairly simple if you just tap the red button in the bottom right of your screen, enter your phone number towards the bottom of the next page, and then pay with WeChat.

You can find a list of some participating institutions here (in Chinese), or follow 'Art_24Hours' on WeChat for more info. Their account is mainly in Chinese, though it's not too difficult to go through the pictures and pick out gallery addresses below them.

Once the early bird sale is over, the pass will be sold for the discounted price of 138RMB for a limited time. The full price for the pass is going to be 158RMB. Even at full price, the pass is a pretty good deal, especially if you're a two-or-more-exhibitions-in-one-day kind of person.

So now you can spend a couple hours at 'Rain Room' in Yuz Museum, then take a wander to the cluster of galleries a bit further down West Bund, or go further up to Power Station of Art and into Jingan's villa-gone-art venue Prada Rong Zhai – all on one well-priced ticket. Art is a blast.
