This big-budget prequel/sequel promises more heedless genetic manipulation and scarier dinosaurs. We’re okay with this, especially with Jeff Goldblum’s Dr Ian Malcolm back to explain the science stuff.

An Iliad

A one-man take on Homer’s Iliad and humankind’s bloody history, Lisa Peterson and Denis O’Hare’s critically acclaimed one-man stage adaptation (starring Joseph Graves) ties the ancient with the modern to teach you more about humanity than you ever wanted to know.

Wine & The City Dinner: Xinjiang Edition

The third in new series of intimate food and wine socials, Wine & The City Dinner events are out to combine casual, social dining with a rotating roster of luxury drink, eats and environment. This time it's a night of Xinjiang cuisine and wine on Xibo's stunning terrace.

Kinky Boots



Fabulously sassy, uplifting and ever so kinky, this Tony Award-winning Broadway musical is based on true events. Directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, with music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, Kinky Boots tells the story of a struggling Northampton shoe factory. It follows the factory owner Charlie Price whose chance encounter with drag queen Lola inspires a production line of sexy heels for transvestites that helps save the family business.

Wolf Alice

This Grammy-nominated alternative rock outfit from North London is on a China tour this summer. If you like grunge, folk, 90s indie and/or electronic music, Wolf Alice will have something for you since they mix all that together into a catchy and exciting sound.

Cirque du Soleil: Toruk - The First Flight

The world's largest (and arguably looniest) theatrical producer, Cirque du Soleil, is coming to town to interpret the breathtaking world of James Cameron’s mega-hit Avatar.
