Congratulations, it's Friday. That means there's stuff to do this weekend, regardless of if it's raining or not (there are two indoor music festivals for a start). Read on for our top picks.

Sunday Folks Pop-up

Popular ice cream brand from Singapore Sunday Folks is organising a pop-up. A collaboration between the dessert brand and KerryOn, expect carefully crafted sweets, freshly made waffles and gorgeous toppings.

KFK Presents: Ron Josol

Just For Laughs Comedy Competition winner Ron Josol returns to KFK for two headline shows. The Canadian's TV appearances include CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Gotham Comedy Live and Last Call with Carson Daly.

Electric Wonderland

An EDM 'festival' all under one roof with Futuristic Polar Bears, Mykris and Steff Da Campo - producers with millions of streams between them. Electric Wonderland has hosted the likes of Hardwell, Paul van Dyk, Afrojack and Paul Oakenfold in the past, so expect this to be a big, glitzy night of EDM.

Comedy UN presents Sam & Joanna

Sam See (Comedy Central Asia, MTV, Singapore Fringe) and Joanna Sio (Hong Kong International Comedy Competition, Melbourne International Comedy Festival) are coming to Comedy UN for a double headliner show. Between them, they've worked with the likes of Dara Ó Briain, Stephen K Amos, Kevin Bridges and Ronny Chieng, so expect them to know their way around a mic.

Transmission Festival

Transmission Festival, one of the world's biggest indoor festivals, comes to Mainland China for the first time, promising to be the biggest trance festival the country has ever seen. The theme of the festival is 'spirit of the warrior' and the lineup includes BT, Aly&Fila and more.

2018 Shanghai Craft Beer Festival

Now a longstanding summer tradition, Boxing Cat Brewery's craft beer fest returns for a weekend of 100-plus craft brews, live music, gourmet eats and a whole load of games and activities. Entry tickets include one drink.

Medusa Two-Year Analversary

Michael Cignarale, Mau Mau and friends celebrate two years of glitter-soaked pansexual realness at Elevator as the open-to-all queer rave marks its second birthday. Expect things to get wild.

DADA's Ninth Anniversary

Happy birthday DADA, you beautiful nightlife creature you. Shanghai stalwarts Heatwolves and Cavia are joined by young superstar Gouachi and Beijing's Puzzy Stack to party like it's DADA's birthday, with Niv on the visuals. Expect a wild one.

Vancouver Sleep Clinic

Australian beatsmith Tim Bettinson's Vancouver Sleep Clinic project 'sounds like Bon Iver making love to Sigur Ros' according to the official blurb, which sounds a bit exhausting but sonically at least it makes for some compelling listening. This is his Shanghai debut, having toured with the likes of London Grammar, Angus and Julia Stone, Daughter and The Naked and Famous.

Date Night Dance

Get on your dancing shoes and bust a move at KerryOn's Date Night Dance this Saturday. Souldancing Studio instructor Nikola Tomasevic will lead two free sessions, teaching Broadway Jazz from 7-7.45pm and New York Salsa from 8-8.45pm. Find them at B1 of the South Wing of Jingan Kerry Center.

Time Out Film Screening: Flowers

Every month, we screen films from our 100 Best Mainland China Films list every month at Glam, M on the Bund. Complete with complimentary gourmet popcorn. This month's film is Wang Xiaoshuai's social realist film 11 Flowers.
