Set to double headline the Mercedes-Benz Arena next week with fellow Brits Kasabian, UK indie band Bastille will no longer be gracing the Shanghai stage. According to a message posted on their social media accounts, the band has postponed their Asia tour for the foreseeable future. Bastille expressed their regrets with a message in both Chinese and English:
The announcement posted on Twitter late last night.
As a result, the B-Land: Kasabian x Bastille show scheduled for Wednesday 29 will no longer go ahead. That's right: Kasabian won't be performing either. If you're mad, it's not out fault, don't shoot the messenger. But do feel free to shoot the runner...
For anyone who has bought tickets, they can be refunded directly through the ticketing agency you bought them with. While it's a great shame that Bastille won't be making it to Shanghai this year, we're crossing our fingers that the band is alright and they return in 2019. But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like they never cancelled at all? (No. No, it doesn't).
