Alice's Adventures Underground is an immersive performance that takes a piece of classic literature and renders it in the physical world as a sort of theme park of emotional roller coasters. Expect the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, afternoon tea and varying degrees of stunning weirdness. The play is in Mandarin, but we've been told that there are minimal lines and a clear path to follow through, so you don't have to worry too much being lost.

Sam Smith, the British pop star behind hits such as 'I'm Not the Only One', 'Stay With Me' and the Bond film-soundtrack song 'Writing's On the Wall', makes his long-awaited Shanghai debut at Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Brawl on the Bund

Shanghai's white collar boxing event Brawl on the Bund celebrates its tenth anniversary with a Moulin Rouge-themed brawl at Hyatt on the Bund. Alongside the boxing, the glamorous black-tie event will feature cabaret dancers, magicians, live singing, unlimited cocktails, a four-course dinner and a charity raffle for breast cancer foundation More Than Aware.
