The Shanghai Comedy Bunker Presents: Shazia Mirza
Critically acclaimed British stand-up comedian Shazia Mirza comes to Shanghai. Her award-winning performances include such shows as The Kardashians Made Me Do It, which played for 103 nights across the US and several European countries.

We might be deep into Shanghai’s winter but things are heating up at The Pearl this weekend. Korean Abstract Art: Kim Whanki and Dansaekhwa
This is the first comprehensive exhibition of Korean abstract art to be held in China. The exhibition features seminal works by the 20th century master of Korean abstract painting Kim Whanki, along with leading figures in the Korean abstract art known as Dansaekhwa. The exhibition provides a historical overview of Dansaekhwa, bringing together more than 100 pieces from the 1970s to the present and introducing a full chronology of its evolution.

Ding Li solo exhibition
Ding Li's work focuses on the exploration of painting as a new visual language through the reconstruction of oil paints, spray paints, brushes and frames. He uses heavy brushstrokes to produce three-dimensional, abstract works.

Xie Qi: Clavicle
Xie Qi’s Clavicle marks the artist’s first solo show in Shanghai and her first collaboration with BANK. Clavicle presents a series of recent oil paintings by this Beijing-based artist, whose signature style embraces both transcendental humanistic tenets and a contemporary spirit. The show is the result of several years of preparation and marks a new breakthrough in the artist’s oeuvre.
