The Big Draw Festival

The Big Draw Festival has a line-up of events waiting for anyone who's interested in art and stories. It’ll have collective drawing, an art market, a collaborative storytelling workshop held by The Shanghai Literary Review, live painting by artists Lin and Wang, story illustration and more. Some events cost 88RMB to participate. Neal Brennan Live in Shanghai

Neal Brennan is a director, writer, actor and comedian known for co-creating and co-writing the Comedy Central series Chappelle's Show, for which he received three Emmy nominations.

Soft Centre X SVBKVLT: Friendships

Sydney's SOFT CENTRE joins hands with SVBKVLT to host a live act 'friendships', and DJs Index and Thick Owens, SVBKVLT artists Hyph11E and Osheyack, along with WOMB will be there. SOFT CENTRE is a festival where experimental art and the like are commemorated in a one-day event at Casula Powerhouse in Western Sydney, Australia. A lot of experimentation, new media, collaborations, light-works and performances will be showcased to create a multi-sensory experience.

Sexy Wine Brunch

el Willy will be welcoming special guest Julian Ruiz Zamora from The Good Food People with some delicious wines (Cava, red or white), which will be available free-flow during the brunch for an additional 158RMB. Apart from the usual brunch menu, there will be four more special dishes on offer using some of The Good Food People's products.

Late night set menus at Mr & Mrs Bund

Mr & Mrs Bund is bringing new late night set menus starting from 240RMB for two courses and a side, or 300RMB for three courses with items such as Arugula Mushroom Truffle, Picnic Chicken Ailloli and Tarte Tartin. During the late night dinner, select drinks are half price and entrance to Bar Rouge is free.

Nirvana Tribute Concert

Come as you are to The Pearl’s tribute night to the mighty grunge gods themselves. Few bands scream 'the '90s' as much as Seattle’s superband Nirvana. Kurt Cobain’s spirit will be in the room all night long, so grab a cold one and don’t miss the theatre’s resident band The Red Stars doing him proud.

Hologram Dreams pres Airbear

Hologram Dreams presents a night of Italo disco, synth-pop, Chicago house, city pop, 2020's club trax and anime visuals dripping from the walls.

Charlie's Angels

The 1976 TV series has been made into two popular action flicks bearing the same title released in 2000 and 2003. The 2019 iteration (produced and directed by Elizabeth Banks) sees the female ensemble (Naomi Scott, Kristen Stewart and Ella Balinska) parachuting, car-racing and gun-fighting against the bad guy, this time someone who possesses a very dangerous technology. Michael Palin in North Korea

Koryo Tours and Channel 5 spent two years arranging the visit of the beloved Monty Python star Michael Palin to visit North Korea for an unprecedented travel documentary. The film follows Palin traveling through the country for a week and engaging with the everyday people of North Korea. Palin highlights the country’s individual personality, which is often hidden from view when the politics take precedent.

Evasana Yoga

Evasana is holding yoga sessions at Perch. Participants get to enjoy 20 percent off food and drinks at the venue until 2pm. The event is BYOM – bring your own mat.
