Right Upper Lobe Lung Mass

This is an AP view of the chest in a patient with chest pain.

And what you can see is that there's a very subtle density in the right upper lobe.

If you look at the arrows on the AP view so there's this mass in the right upper lobe.

And then we have a couple of images from a CT scan.

And you can see this is a speculated right upper lobe lung mass.

And it's tenting the major fissure and this turned out to be a lung cancer.

2、Two words to learn today 

1, speculate

to form an opinion about sth without knowing all the details or facts

It is speculated that ....

2, fissure

[ˈfɪʃɚ] n. 狭长裂缝或裂隙; 裂伤; 分歧; 分裂; vt. 裂开

oblique/major fissure

horizontal/minor fissure

accessory fissure
