However, its shot down the case, which has also been calling for compensation of 100 million yuan from the Japanese government.

Japanese forces systematically bombed Chongqing and its surrounding area from 1938 to 1944, killing and injuring more than 32,000 people.

The courts in Japan rejected their initial claims in 2015.

Lawyers for the group, 22 of which have died since the initial claim was filed 2-years ago, are expected to file suit in Chinese courts.

The new draft regulations are also going to require charities to disclose revenues within three months of a public fund-raising event, including how they have used funds, and plans for any unused income.

The Chinese government has issued a new call for talks between the Israeli and Palestinian sides to create a fair resolution to the Palestinian issue.

This follows a summit of Islamic countries in Istanbul on Wednesday, which has officially given recognition to a Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

This is a response to US President Donald Trump recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

A statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry says China supports the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty on the basis of the 1967 borders.

Disney to buy Fox film, TV businesses for $52.4 billion in stock

Disney has struck a deal to buy 21st Century Fox in a deal said to be worth over 52-billion US dollars.

Disney is going to take control of 21st Century Fox's film and television studios, as well as its its cable entertainment networks and international TV businesses.

Those assets include some blockbuster Marvel superhero pictures as well as a number of hit TV shows.

This is expected to give Disney a new pipeline of shows and movies as it battles technology companies spending billions of dollars on their self-produced programming.

Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger also says this will give the company a much larger international footprint.

This will include Disney taking control of the Hulu video streaming service which Fox purchased a few years ago.

This is one of Netflix's main competitors.
