英国宣布禁用华为 特朗普：我亲自说服的
当地时间14日，英国政府宣布：英国通讯运营商自今年12月31日起禁止购买华为5G新设备；在2027年之前移除现有网络中的所有华为5G设备。

英国数字化、文化、媒体与体育大臣奥利弗·道登（Oliver Dowden）14日在议会上承认，此举会导致英国5G建设推迟一年，但坚称“事关维护英国电信网络长期安全”，尤其是“考虑到美国的制裁”。
特朗普随即在演讲中表态称，“我亲自说服很多国家禁用华为”，并将英国此举当做自己的功劳。
特朗普称赞了英国“变卦”的行为。
他在演讲中先是以一贯的话术污蔑中国“窃取知识产权”，扬言美国是在“对抗中国不受信任的科技和电信公司”，随后补充说：“我们说服了很多国家，大部分由我自己亲自做的。”
On Tuesday, Trump claimed credit for the UK’s reversal.
"We convinced many countries — many countries, and I did this myself for the most part. I talked many countries out of using it. They want to do business with us, they can't use it," he said.
Just today, I believe that UK announced that they’re not going to be using it. And that was up in the air for a long time, but they’ve decided. And you look at Italy; you look at many other countries.

英国行业相关人士算了一笔账
英国文化大臣道登在宣布对华为的5G禁令时表示，禁用华为这意味着英国5G铺设进度将累计被耽搁2至3年，并将为此付出高达20亿英镑的经济代价。
This means accumulative delay to 5G rollout of two to three years and costs of up to 2 billion pounds.
近日英国电讯业巨头英国电讯（BT）总裁菲利普·严森（Philip Jansen）在接受BBC采访时警告说：想在10年时间内放弃使用华为的设备“根本不可能”。
If you wanted to have no Huawei in the whole of the telecoms infrastructure across the whole of the UK, I think that's impossible to do in under 10 years.
严森还再次警告，如果操之过急英国电讯被迫剔除华为，将不排除通讯网络瘫痪的可能。英国电讯上周已经对此提出过警告。
Mr Jansen also repeated a warning first given by his firm last week, saying that "outages would be possible" if BT is forced to pull out Huawei's 5G kit too quickly.
不惜走上数字发展慢车道、付出巨大的经济代价也要封禁华为，英国政府承认，这一决定与美国升级对华为的限制有关。
华为回应：
被政治化感到遗憾
华为英国的发言人布鲁斯特表示：“很遗憾，华为在英国的未来发展被政治化，这是受到美国贸易政策影响，而非安全问题。”
"Regrettably our future in the UK has become politicized, this is about US trade policy and not security. "
布鲁斯特认为，“这一令人失望的决定将危及英国自身，可能会令英国踏上数字化发展的慢车道、增加通讯开支，并加深数字鸿沟。”
Ed Brewster, a spokesperson for Huawei UK, said: "This disappointing decision is bad news for anyone in the UK with a mobile phone. It threatens to move Britain into the digital slow lane, push up bills and deepen the digital divide."
