Dr Lin Li is featured in a report entitled Social Justice and Sustainable Change: The Impacts of Higher Education, which has just been released in New York by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
The report mentions that Dr Lin Li was one of 4,300 alumni of the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP, 2001-2011, http://www.fordifp.org/AboutIFP.aspx). He originated in China. Supported by the Ford Foundation IFP, he did his PhD in public health at the University of Melbourne in Australia between 2004 and 2007. Since 2007, Dr Li has been a Behavioral Scientist at Cancer Council Victoria in Australia, where he works to promote international understanding and collaboration through his public health research. He recently published results from a tobacco pack warning effectiveness evaluation study in Malaysia and Thailand (http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayAbstract?fromPage=online&aid=10167051&fileId=S1834261215000213), which he hopes will also shed light on how to reduce tobacco use in his native China.
Dr Li is a co-founder of the East-West Partners for Education and Health WeChat Platform (Barcode: eastwest100), which has more than 25,500 subscribers around the world. We would like to extend out sincere congratulations to Dr Li. From April 28, we will gradually publish some parts of the above report on our WeChat Platform, as well as articles from one of Dr Li’s books on the power of education and dreams.
We thank you for your attention and interest.
Sincerely,
The East West Partners of Education and Health
