来咯！宁诺“未来教室“正式启用，探秘新教室第一堂直播课

Upgraded lecture rooms deliver enhanced learning experience.
上周，宁波诺丁汉大学“未来教室”迎来了第一位试用者。他是商学院国际商务与战略学副教授李磊老师。本学期他主讲课程——战略管理：观点，过程和实践。
为了上好这一堂140人的直播大课，保证同学们在异地有好的课程效果，课件播放不延时、视频播放不卡顿，李磊老师前期做了很多准备工作。他两次到教室熟悉场地、学习设备使用并进行简单试讲。
“以学生为中心”是宁诺未来教室设计的核心理念，但这不是一句空话，它体现在教与学的每个细节上。
上午九点，尽管讲台下没有学生，李磊老师激情开讲。
他以三星电子为例，讲企业的定位和竞争优势，进而带领学生了解企业竞争力与资源开发之间的关系，最后谈到企业如何通过资源开发建设自身能力。
涉及到需要图解的知识点，他就用“未来教室”配备的“神器”电子笔直接在大屏幕上做图帮助学生理解。
为了减少同学们连续听一个半小时课程所带来的疲劳感，李老师巧思不断。
得益于未来教室支持的多屏切换功能，他插播了一小段《点球成金》的片花，用视觉语言帮助同学们从棒球球队的运营中，学习企业管理层如何制定战略、开发资源并提升能力。
此外，李老师在课程后半段还特别邀请了一位企业界的嘉宾与他一起“云”上课。这位嘉宾曾在多家科技企业任管理层。两人一问一答，将许多前沿的商业知识融入了对话中。有学生表示，看高手“论战”，还是颇具启发，期待未来会有一堂单独的业界嘉宾分享课程。
不少同学都表示能看出来李老师为这堂课做了很多的准备工作，为他的认真负责和投入演讲点赞。也有人反馈了对“未来教室”的初印象——“感觉是集成了白板、屏幕、电脑和摄像于一体，看上去有点酷“、“有点期待回来的线下教学”。
已有数十年教龄的李磊老师其实也是第一次尝鲜未来教室的许多高科技，比如电子笔、多屏操控等。课后他也不忘向技术部门的负责人请教简易屏幕切换的方法。“场景切换其实是可以一键完成的，但我还不是很熟悉，需要多加练习。”他坦率地说。
李老师告诉我们，总体而言，这次在“未来教室”的授课给了他很好的体验。同学们能够实时看到他的课堂引导。对于有时差无法参加课堂学习的同学，录制的直播视频效果因为有不同场景的切换，也比在家中录制的效果好了许多。他认为，特殊时期，老师更加应该适应学生的学习需求，并设计相应的课程内容和讲授方式。他考虑接下来的课程包括大课及讨论课会更多放在未来教室进行。
浙江已经公布了开学时间表，高校返校提上日程。课堂教学恢复后，对于无法返回校园的学生，学校将继续为他们提供在线教学和相应支持，六间“未来教室”也将发挥更大的作用。
负责技术支持的图书馆团队也表示，已经有不少教师预约进行远程教学，预计接下来还会迎来预约小井喷。他们目前正在紧锣密鼓制定六间教室设备的使用指南，会尽快发给各位教师，希望助力开展高质量的线上线下教学。

Last week, one of the upgraded "student-centred lecture rooms" was used for the first time when Dr Lei Li, Associate Professor of International Business and Strategy, gave a lecture entitled “Strategic Management: Perspective, Process and Practice”.
As students have not yet returned to campus, Dr Li presented his lecture to an empty hall. During the lecture, Dr Li illustrated the positioning and competitive advantages of Samsung Electronics, demonstrating to students the relationship between its capabilities and resources.
He used the newly equipped electronic pen in the room to draw directly on the big screen to help students understand better.
Dr Li also demonstrated the enhanced interactions with students that the room allows. He utilised the flip screens to play a short clip from the movie "Moneyball", which detailed the innovative stats-based approach of a US baseball team. The session also featured a guest lecture by an expert from tech industry.
Although he already had some experience in classroom technology, Dr Li stated that the lecture had been something special. Once he is more practised with the upgrades, Dr Li believes that the new rooms can provide students with a better learning experience.
Many students gave high praise to the upgraded facilities and said they looked forward to attending lectures in the new rooms.
Zhejiang Province has already announced the timetable for the on-campus resumption of the Spring/Summer semester and higher education institutions are preparing for the return of students.
Even after classroom teaching restarts, though, UNNC will continue to provide high-quality online teaching and support for students who cannot return to campus immediately.
Several academic staff are scheduled to host lectures in one of the six upgraded rooms, thereby ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching both online and offline.
