Lucy Kirk
Lucy Kirk 是英国布里斯托尔的自由插画家和陶艺家。自 2012 年从布莱顿大学毕业以来，她与各种不同的客户和不同的项目合作过。这些包括编辑插图、书籍插图、印刷和图案设计、壁画、时装和陶瓷设计。她的作品俏皮而清新，带有一种前卫的幽默感。

Lucy Kirk is a freelance illustrator and ceramist based in Bristol, UK. Since graduating from Brighton University in 2012 she has worked with a wide range of different clients and varied projects. These include editorial illustrations, book illustrations, print and pattern designs, murals, fashion and ceramic designs. Her work is playful and refreshing with an edgy humour.

艺术家声明｜Artist Statement
我喜欢在日常生活中寻找灵感。如果你有有趣的风格、漂亮的发型或糟糕的纹身，那么你就是我的完美模特。人们在我的实践中扮演着重要的角色，而且选择越多越好。个人表达对我来说非常重要，我努力在我的工作中尽可能地包容。大胆的印花和鲜艳的色彩非常有特色，我喜欢很棒的图案冲突。Big Cats 是我个人项目中的主要影响力。我所有的艺术记忆都以老虎或猫为特征。从 8 岁时制作 playdoh 卧虎，到在我十几岁时在我父母的浴室墙上画猫肖像，再到现在在我 30 多岁时制作大型猫版画和陶瓷。我想我一生都在画一种或另一种形式的大猫。我可以永远继续画大猫，永远不会感到无聊。它们是我在各种媒体中的创意出路。就像一只沉默的宠物或隐形的朋友。
I love finding inspiration in the everyday. If you have an interesting style, great hair cut or terrible tattoo, then you're the perfect model for me. People play a big part in my practice and the more alternative the better. Personal expression is very important to me and I try to always be as inclusive as possible within my work. Bold prints and bright colours feature heavily and I love a great pattern clash. Big Cats are the main influence in my personal projects. All my artistic memories feature a tiger or cat. From making playdoh reclining tigers aged eight to painting cat portraits on my pa rent's bathroom walls in my teenage years, to now making big cat prints and ceramics in my thirties. I think I have been drawing big cats in one form or another all my life. I could continue to draw big cats forever and never get bored. They are my creative outlet in every medium. Like a silent pet or invisible friend.
