British rock band Suede is coming back to Hong Kong for a live concert this summer. Following the release of new album Night Thoughts, the band has embarked on a world tour with a one night only performance in Hong Kong – Suede Live in Hong Kong 2016 will be held on 16 August 2016 at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Formed in 1989, Suede erupted into the public-consciousness with their 1993 eponymous album which achieved worldwide success. Ten years, five albums and numerous awards and chart-topping songs later, the band split in 2003. 

After a long hiatus, the well-loved band reunited in 2010 with the current line-up of Suede (Brett Anderson, Mat Osman, Simon Gilbert, Richard Oakes and Neil Codling) and gave a series of critically-acclaimed live performance, followed by the release of album Bloodsports in 2013, also to considerable critical acclaim. 

The band launched their long-awaited seventh studio album Night Thoughts this January alongside a feature film directed by photographer Roger Sargent. 

With Night Thoughs, Suede has reached new heights in their career. The album has reached number 6 in the UK chart and has become the band’s highest charting album since Head Music in 1999. The album is also very well-received among critics, with Rolling Stone calling it the band’s “most cohesive album to date, putting on a decisive modern twist on their definitive Brit-pop” and NME saying it “sounds bolder, braver and better than they have in 20 years”. 

The decadent, glamorous music that is signature of Suede is set to rock the stage in Hong Kong.

英倫搖滾組合Suede獻上華麗動人之音 

英國搖滾組合Suede定於今年夏天再度來港演出。承著全新專輯Night Thoughts的推出，Suede於較早前展開世界巡迴演出，其中一站為香港，定於2016年8月16日在亞洲國際博覽館舉行 Suede Live in Hong Kong 2016。

成立於1989年的Suede，憑1993年推出的同名專輯闖出名堂，在多個排行榜獲得佳績，獲得全球樂迷歡心。其後10年間，樂隊推出過5張專輯，以及多首在排行榜取得佳績的單曲，然而樂隊於2003年宣布解散。

蟄伏多年，Suede於2010年以Brett Anderson、Mat Osman、Simon Gilbert、Richard Oakes及Neil Codling的陣容重組復出，並舉行了多場叫好叫座的現場演出。隨後於2013年推出復出後首張專輯Bloodsports，亦獲得好評。

樂隊今年1月推出了樂迷引頸以待的第七張錄音室專輯Night Thoughts，同時發佈的還有由攝影師Roger Sargent執導的影片。Night Thoughts將Suede的事業帶到新高峰。專輯登上了英國排行榜第6位，是樂隊自1999年Head Music後，在排行榜獲得最高位置的作品。樂評人亦對專輯一致讚賞，Rolling Stone稱之為Suede「迄今最具凝聚力的專輯，為他們的Brit-Pop風格帶來現代韻味」，而NME則認為專輯「比起樂隊過往20年來，更為大膽、勇敢、精彩」。
