[Job] Logistics/Operations Manager Wanted

Company Description:
We are a rapidly growing Australian company that develops and creates headwear for leading action sports and lifestyle brands globally. We are seeking a well organised individual who pays attention to detail and wants to become a part of a fun and dynamic team.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Oversee office work flow
Follow up sampling & production status
Follow up factory pricing and put into WIP/ERP system

Once Factory PO is placed:
-ensure production comments are made by developer and sent to factory

-arrange all trims, hangtags, stickers, barcodes and packing for the orders

-Schedule QC inspection

-Work with QC to ensure goods are up to required standard so that Accounts can be notified to invoice client

-Arrange packing list, commercial invoice and shipping docs

-Liaise with customers and forwarders Shipping quotations

-Negotiate and arrange domestic and international freight

-Keep a log of any shipments or samples that come in or out

-When any samples or swatches come in give to the assigned developer for them to label / hangtag and check the details

-general office duties / sourcing

-assist management with miscellaneous tasks

Candidate Requirements:
-Main Skills required for this role:

-Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with staff and clients in both Mandarin and English languages is a must

-Logistics / shipping experience required

-Foreign trade / manufacturing experience is advantageous

-Proactive and able to work as a team or individually

-Ability to manage priorities and multi task efficiently

-Sound knowledge MS Office experience

-Strong attention to detail

-Sound analytical and problem solving skills
