Mike came to Asia in 1993 and is now responsible for sourcing $200 million of product on behalf of his clients at his boutique sourcing agency - PassageMaker. Mike has supported customers in the supply chains of Apple, Wal-Mart, Dell, Home Depot and of course Amazon. He is also the author of “The Essential Reference Guide to China Sourcing” and lecturer at the China Sourcing Academy.

Manuel Becvar 

CEO and Founder of Mandarin-Gear Ltd. and ImportDojo

17 Years of sourcing and product development experience, 10 years from Asia. Previously led a team of 35 sourcing agents in 5 countries, having sourced products worth $200 million for clients such as WalMart, Carrefour and Amazon. Runs ImportDojo.com and is an Amazon FBA seller.

Danny McMillan 

Amazon Specialist, Danny McMillan

Leveraging his background in Conversion Optimization and PPC, Danny is now an Amazon FBA seller. He has initially focused on PPC strategies and tactics, and is now applying those to his product roll-out. Danny co-runs the largest UK Amazon FBA meet-up where he regularly presents and provides updates on his progress and lessons learned.

American, living in Shenzhen 12+ years. Started FBA in January 2016 and launched first products end of February. Currently selling 4 products and striving for 10 by year end. Selling in USA and UK/EU.

Noah Herschman 

CEO, Yangbo Ecommerce Group

Noah has been involved in ecommerce since its inception in the mid-1990s and has held leadership positions at Amazon, eBay and Groupon. He was most recently the COO of DH Gate, a Chinese cross-border trade platform. Noah also has 20 years of traditional retail experience and was Chief Merchant for Staples China. Noah has been living, studying and working in China since 2010 and speaks fluent Mandarin.

The April Summit

The first Global Sources Summit (Smart China Sourcing Summit on April 17-19, 2016 in Hong Kong) received enthusiastic feedback all around.  The audience ranged from those who had no Amazon experience to those already making very successful sales on the platform.  Knowledgeable speakers covered topics from sourcing, logistics, and QC to Amazon promotion and branding tactics.  The networking and sharing among the audience and speakers during and after the event also provided everyone with the opportunity to hear first-hand stories and valuable lessons learned from each other.
