[Job] Assistant Accountant

 

Company Description:

Phoenix lifestyle is a company founded in 2003, is the holding owning and managing restaurants, trading company, bar and night clubs, events, fashion, hospitality, entertainment and corporate events. We are looking new employee to join our team in our headquarters with the position of: Assistant Accountant

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate would report to Finance Manager and will be responsible for the expense and payment processing to record general ledger, accruals and payments. Job applicants who are looking for a 5-day work week or a 3-day work week will be considered.

The main responsibilities are:

• Process purchase invoices, staff expense reports and vendor payments

• Validation of expenses and claims

• Cross-check supporting documentation and ensure that all approvals are complete

• Make bi-weekly fund requests, prepare checks and online payments

• Process and monitor manual checks, wire transfers, and petty cash

• Process accounts payable and payments accounting entries

• Prepare bank balance reconciliations, analysis and reporting schedules

• Maintain fixed assets register

• Assist in month-end closing and ad hoc assignments

• Support daily accounting operations

• Maintain the filing system

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Accounting discipline

• Minimum one year’s work experience in Accounts Payable function

• Attentive to details

• Ability to handle high transaction volumes that require accuracy

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese

• Proficiency in PC skills e.g. MS Word, Excel

• Knowledge in JD Edwards is an advantage

• Strong communication skills

• Able to work independently as well as with a team

• Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Education Level Required:

College/university/polytechnic

Years work experience: 1 year

Available For: Local Chinese

Salary Range: 5001 - 10000
