National Space Agency Informational Meeting

The National Space Agency in England has partnered with Universal English to offer 3 unique and exciting Science Programs for kids 8-18+. 

The National Space Agency is building strategic partnership in China to look at our methodologies to inspire and engage Chinese students in science and engineering.

They have also designed and built several physics education experiments which have been carried to the International Space Station and been operated by European Space Agency (ESA) astronauts. Their award winning scientists will be teaching the three classes. 

Chemistry Master Class for Students Going To College 

They will offer a 4-week program where 15 hours a week you will be busy learning how to do chemistry experiments, learning how to write reports for those experiments and learning how to do a science project.

You will be taught by one of their award winning Lead Educators. You will also get access to the National Space Center for those 4 weeks. You can watch a different Sir Patrick Moore planetarium show each week and you get a certificate of attendance.

The number of hours you get to do experiments is more than an entire semester at college. If you want to be a star in college then this class is for you.

You will learn about: 

• Discover the relationship between the objects we see in the sky. 

• Tour of the Night Sky. 

• Satellites and Telescopes exploring space from Earth. 

• Explore the history of rockets in this explosive show. 

• Working to a budget, students must work together to design, construct and launch their rocket. 

• Find out what it is like to be an Astronaut living and working on the International Space Station. 

• Experience a rocket launch from inside the body of an astronaut. 

• Apollo mission and space rock investigation. 

• Put your engineering and design skills to the test, as you build a parachute for a Martian probe. 

• Allows you to explore the secrets of our cosmic chemistry, and our explosive origins. 

• This interactive workshop uses Maths, Computing and problem-solving skills to program the LEGO NXT rovers to complete challenges on Martian terrain mats. 

• Colonizing Mars. 

• Planets workshop and planets planetarium. 

• A team building workshop in which groups need to work in separate teams to deal with a possible Earth impact from a Near Earth Object.
