Ballet Master Course
This year, we are very honoured to invite internationally famous dancers and teachers from the National Ballet of Berlin and the Zurich Ballet Company as well as famous ballet and contemporary dance teachers from the USA to the1st Ballet Master Course in Hong Kong.
In collaboration with the ballet masters, this course has been designed to strengthen the participants’ dance skills and experience through a variety of teaching mediums and improve their overall artistic accomplishments.
The course runs over four days from August 7 to August 10, 2018.
Special guests Iana Salenko, principal of the Berlin National Ballet, and Grigoryan Arman, former principal of the Zurich Ballet, are the two world-renowned ballet masters heading up the course instruction.
Hsiang-Hsiu Lin, former dancer from The Limón Dance Company and former modern teacher of Cloud-Gate Dance Theatre will teach contemporary technique while Victoria Vargas, teacher from Joffrey Ballet de Chicago, will teach physical conditioning and stretch for elite dance.
Course modules include ballet elite technique, pointe training, variation sequences, contemporary dance, and ballet physical conditioning.
The master instructors’ variety of teaching methods, the rich multi-dimensional course content, the systematic and comprehensive dance training from a variety of aspects, a deeper understanding of ballet as an art-form from ballet masters, and opportunities to interact with fellow participants from different cultures makes this the must do course this summer.

今年，我們很榮幸邀請到來自柏林國家芭蕾舞團、蘇黎世芭蕾舞團、美國的國際著名導師們來到香港參與第一屆芭蕾大師班的課程。
此次課程設置的目的，旨在通過與芭蕾大師零距離交流和接觸，強化參與者的舞蹈技能，感受多樣的教學風格，提高藝術修養。
課程為期四天，由2018年8月7日至8月10日。
柏林國家芭蕾舞團首席——Iana Salenko以及蘇黎世芭蕾舞團前首席—— Grigoryan Arman，兩位國際芭蕾明星擔任課程導師。
現代舞技巧由前荷西．李蒙舞團舞者林向秀指導，她過去是台灣雲門舞集的現代舞導師;以及曾任教於Joffrey Ballet de Chicago 的 Victoria Vargas 指導舞者floor barre的核心訓練教學。
今年的Master Course 大師班包括芭蕾舞、腳尖技術課、經典古典芭蕾舞小品、現代舞、肌肉綜合能力提升訓練。導師們精益求精的高標準教學方式，豐富多元的課程內容，以及來自各個地區參與者不同的訓練背景，可以使參與者得到多方面的專業舞蹈訓練，加深對芭蕾藝術的理解，以及互相學習的機會。
