Since opening its doors in 2012, The Langham, Shenzhen’s Palm Court has become a preferred choice for afternoon tea enthusiasts with its creative offerings, charming European atmosphere and most importantly, an inheritance of The Langham’s over 150 years of practice in the art of afternoon tea.
From now to 31 March 2019, Palm Court will be presenting ‘My Favourite Afternoon Tea’, featuring the most popular sweet and savoury items from five different afternoon tea sets in 2018 based on the results of an online vote.
‘My Favourite Afternoon Tea’ set is a reflection of the beauty of the seasons. The blossoms of Spring can be found in the, Jamon ham focaccia tartine, with its blend of creamy Iberian ham and gentle herbal scent; the sweetness of Summer is embodied in the Cherry and pistachio puff with juicy and sweet cherry; the abundance of Autumn is seen in the rich red velvet cake; and in Winter, the Guerlain Afternoon Tea was the talk of the town with its perfect harmony of fashion and traditions, delivering crowd favourites such as the Rouge G De Guerlain, that is named after Guerlain’s classic lipstick colour.
The Langham, Shenzhen’s Palm Court offers an extensive selection of cakes, pastries, Devonshire cream scones, freshly made jams, sandwiches and premium teas. Since November 2014, The Langham partnered century-old brand Wedgwood to introduce the luxurious Wedgwood British Afternoon Tea that delivered an exceptional experience with classic Wedgwood teas served in Wedgwood tea-ware with The Langham pink rose, desserts that are specially crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Francesco Mannino, plus live piano music.
