Urgently Wanted: Part-time Financial Accountant

We're a website keeping the community of Shenzhen, expat and Chinese informed of events and other happenings around the city. We provide a daily newsletter, event calendar, job search, apartment search, as well as other services. This website is in need of an accountant that can handle our financial issues on a part-time basis. Help a website serve Shenzhen business better.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts independently 

• Oversee accounts payable, account receivable, general ledger & petty cash 

• Perform daily operation of accounting functions 

• Budgeting and preparing daily & monthly cash flow  

• Monitor the month-end closing process

• Manage both China and Hong Kong company books

• Engage with both Chinese and Hong Kong auditors to build an accurate financial picture

Candidate Requirements: 

• Degree in Accounting 

• Pass the professional accounting examinations 

• Knowledge in PC operation, proficient with MS Excel & Word 

• Reliable, self-initiative, attentive to details and responsive

• 3-4 years accounting or audit experience 

• Fluent in spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin 

• Mature, stable job history, Immediate available preferred 

• Able to travel to Hong Kong to pickup banking logon device

• Experience in media company is preferred
