Shenzhen Metro Will Start the Real-Name Verification

With a large stream of people coming back to Shenzhen to work, each metro station does face a big challenge.

Starting from Sunday February 16th, the Shenzhen Metro will start the real-name verification process in all subway lines in Shenzhen to ensure passengers’ s information can be checked and tracked. The purpose is to effectively track infections and ensure the health and safety of citizens.

One-way tickets and day tickets will be suspended during epidemic prevention and control efforts. Those passengers that use Shenzhen pass Card and Day-pass Card need to scan the QR to complete a real-name registration when they enter the station.
