GREAT ART SPACE is pleased to present Italian artist Lele Fioroni's first solo exhibition in China: The Importance of Time. The exhibtiion showcases more than 40 pieces of mixed media works created between 2018 and 2020, which dicuss the meanings of Time.

Artist Statement

“The passage of time is unstoppable and as we grow old, day by day, life goes on and only some of us realize how fast time has passed. 

This was the inspiration for the body of works which I am about to present in this exhibition, because time is the most precious thing we have, it can’t be saved and it’s up to us to realize it and use it as best as we can.

I wanted to depict time in many ways, from the classical representation of the clock to the deeper concept of the labyrinth, the meaning of life itself, where it is easy to get lost and waste precious time in order to find the right way. And many more to be discovered in the exhibition."

宏藝空間荣幸举办意大利艺术家 勒乐•费罗尼 Lele Fioroni 的首次中国个展 The Importance of Time 时间迷宫，展览集中呈献艺术家在2018-2020年创作的40余件综合材料绘画作品，围绕着“时间”这个话题展开深入的讨论。

 艺术家自述 

“时间是我们所拥有最宝贵的东西，它不可以被储存起来，他的每一分钟都是独一无二的。怎么定义时间的重要，这取决于我们如何发挥他和如何最好的利用它。这便是此次展览《时间迷宫》的灵感。从古典的时钟再到复杂的迷宫，我会寻求用更多的方式去描绘时间。生命本身，就是迷失方向和浪费宝贵的时间来寻找正确方向的过程。来探索“时间迷宫”，您将会发现更多关于时间的奥秘。”

展览期间将会举行各种活动及工作坊，艺术家也会在展览现场进行驻留创作，欢迎大家前来与艺术家进行面对面的交流，共同探讨每一个人对“时间”的认识与理解。

艺术家现场驻留创作

想一探艺术家工作室的样子？好奇艺术家是如何创作的？那么就来展览现场偶遇艺术家吧，艺术家在展览期间将驻场创作，并邀请感兴趣的观众一起创作，亲身解答观众对艺术家的各种疑问。

剧透：Lele Fioroni 同时也是一位乐队主唱和吉他手，展览现场有不定时的艺术家即兴现场音乐演出，惊喜就在前面，快来展览现场活捉艺术家呀！

参与和见证一件共同创造作品的诞生

在开幕式和展览现场，艺术家将邀请观众共同参与创作一件作品《Time Beggar 时间乞丐》，这件作品将延续时间的概念，被划分为100个分隔的独立条格，每位参与者将有机会完成其中的一条，并在这件作品背后签署上自己的名字，最终完成的作品将会在8月23日的展览闭幕party上进行现场拍卖，快来见证和参与一件伟大作品的诞生吧。

关于艺术家

勒乐∙费罗尼 Lele Fioroni

1977年出生于意大利米兰。意大利艺术家，跨界艺术家，设计师，乐队主唱及吉他手。他是一个充满好奇心的人，喜欢花时间去探索新鲜事物和享受人生。他花费了许多时间去阅览世界各地，居住在不同的城市，感受不一样的当地文化。
