Hello everyone, the dates are set for August, we are having 2 events in August,
August 5th, Wednesday 18:30-21:00
August 23rd, Sunday 15:30-18:00
As per usual, you are welcome to drop by anytime and do a quick book run or you can spend some time with us reading, chatting and all that fun stuff we do. But, face masks must be on all the time, this is the one of the 2 conditions the venue have us agreed, the other one is that we shall not have a pack of people sitting next each other and discuss. Please do forgive us for such terms.
Also, there will be guards asking your green codes to be shown still entering the area and the neighbour, be prepared.
About the Book Exchange
• We are Shenzhen's biggest ex-pat library, with around 800 English books and 200 Chinese/foreign language ones.
• During events, we open up our collection for checkouts, returns, discussions, and the occasional special event.
• Run on volunteer power and hosted at a community center, we are always free and open to the public. No cover charge, no need to bring a book (although donations are always welcome).
• Drop by anytime during our events. You can make a quick book run or hang out for hours, it's entirely up to you.
• We currently meet once or twice a month. If you're following us, you'll get a notification about a week before each event. if you're not, scroll to the bottom of this post and scan the QR code!
We’re inside an apartment complex called Shuiwei Xin Jiayuan (水围新家园). Once inside, walk all the way to the back, past the fountain, and we’ll be on the right.
