意大利是一个充满悠久历史的国家，而有着65000人口的小城维泰博（Viterbo）毫无疑问是其中的传奇之一，这里坐落着优美的古罗马建筑，是意大利淘金者的家乡……但对于死亡金属、碾核、朋克等极端音乐分子来说最重要的是，2007年五个疯狂的年轻人在这座小城里组建了碾核、死亡金属乐队NEID。
NEID前期作品带有锋利的极端朋克色彩，在高速暴躁的鼓点碾压下，传统的硬核和CRUST PUNK吉他RIFF扭曲盘杂在一起，毫无保留的愤怒从他们的音乐喷涌而出，喜欢TOXIC HOLAUCAUST, Ratos de Porão的乐迷肯定会大呼过瘾！在发行了一张EP和三张SPLIT后，乐队从现代碾核和死亡金属中汲取养分，2011年的第一张正式专辑《Il cuore della bestia》风格变得更加多元和技术化，在保留着优秀碾核军团比如PHOBIA、TERRORIZER的“短、快、狠”的特点同时，更多的加入了死亡金属、现代碾核的沉重和律动感，在每首歌平均长度不超过两分钟的时间内，NEID的音乐如同一个充满暴力美感的万花筒，这张专辑让他们得到了碾核和朋克圈子以外更广泛的认可。
2012年发行的EP《Non repetere est hereditas》更是请来了残酷死亡金属大牌Hour of Penance、新加坡碾核劲旅Wormrrot成员合作，这张EP体现了NEID作为一只碾核乐队的实验性，除了比前作更加快速的鼓点以外，更是运用到了不少氛围片段，甚至追随碾核祖师爷SIEGE在第二首歌使用萨克斯SOLO，这几首短小精悍的单曲很好地诠释了自由的碾核精神，也让他们在欧洲获得了更多音乐节和巡演的机会。
2016年NEID正式发型了第二张专辑《Atomoxetine》，这张集大成的专辑在欧洲地下音乐界收到了不小的反响。与其他纯粹靠猎奇、噪音等元素哗众取宠的碾核乐队不同，NEID的音乐在碾核的框架下仍然保持着极高的音乐性，每一首歌的作曲都有明确的动机和走向，吉他的弹奏精准而猛烈，同时有通过巧妙地编排避免了重复性的问题；鼓点除了碾核惯有的高速以外也充满了技术化细节，主唱猛烈地老式硬核唱腔与器乐相得印彰，他们的音乐中的每一分每一秒都能把现场变成兵荒马乱的战场！
乐队刚刚在意大利完成与曾经来华的硬核朋克先驱乐队MDC（Millions of Dead Cops）的巡演，八月份即将来到台湾、大陆、日本等地进行亚洲巡演，将为蛰伏在各地的碾核、朋克、金属爱好者带来一场狂欢！

In the country known as Italy the NEID was born in 2007 from the ashes of some local bands active since 90's years in the hardcore underground scene (Tmd, Manifold, Flopdown..) with Guru Renato (vox) Capò (drums) il Socio (bass) Giulia (guitar till 2010, now Saturnine & Olim Palus) and Serafino (guitar till 2008, now Hostiliter).
They were one of the first bands in Viterbo and Tuscia land to play raw and grinding fastcore with Italian old school hc influences and they recorded a couple of do it yourself works (one Mcd and two Cd Split self-produced through their personal distribution-label RA Records).
Inspired by many famous brutal bands (expecially Napalm Death) and supported by a new line-up with Giacomino (guitar, ex Cruel Revenge) and Angioletto (guitar, ex Locked In, Ingegno and Inside Process) during 2010 NEID decided to orient
their sound in the way of an aggressive and sick metallic grindcore and started the recording of their first full-length with Emiliano Natali (producer of Aborym) out as a CD for Hecatombe Records and Zas in 2011.
At moment NEID have current members from Degenerhate (Rome death/grind) and Dilution (Usa/Italy thrashcore)
In these same years they took part at 230 concerts in Europe (Italy, Sardinia, France, Slovenia, England, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia) Asia (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Russian Federation in 2010, 2013 2015) and America (United States & Cuba) with bands like BRUTAL TRUTH, THE ACCUSED & NEGATIVE APPROACH, NADER SADEK (ex CRYPTOPSY, MAYHEM, CATTLE DECAPITATION) POISON IDEA, MDC (Usa) RATOS DE PORAO (Bra) UNCURBED (Swe), CYNESS (Ger), OI POLLOI (Sco), TOOLS OF THE TRADE (Mal), ARCHAGATHUS (Can) STRENGHT APPROACH, KLASSE KRIMINALE, IMPACT, BUFFALO GRILLZ & TSUBO (Ita).
In their lyrics NEID try to talk about human explotation, mass control and world systems which enslave people all around.
