Romain Baret 三重奏成立于2010年，在经历了一系列的音乐试验后，他们建立了一种愉悦而充满能量的音乐风格，乐队也由三重奏发展成五重奏，在原来的吉他-低音提琴-鼓的配置基础上，加上了萨克斯与小号。其编曲十分精准，有序而不失自发性：事先编排好的旋律与即兴创作无缝地融为一体，迸发出流动的能量与自由。同时，他们深受摇滚、爵士及流行音乐的影响，乐风充满了目的性与冒险精神，同时具有表现主义与悬疑色彩。
2014年5月由Prince-Oreilles唱片公司发布的首张专辑<Split Moments>，让Romain Baret 三重奏得以在个人及音乐生活中结识了Éric Prost——享誉业界的知名萨克斯演奏家。这张专辑也得到了许多专业爵士媒体的赞扬（包括JazzMag, The Chill Jazz Corner, CultireJazz.fr等等）。接着，Romain Baret三重奏联合Eric Prost和小号手Florent Briqué ，组成了如今的五重奏，并于今年出版了一张新专辑<Naissance de l’Horizon>。
虽然乐队在作曲时经常会从一些前卫的音乐中吸收灵感（King Crimson, Pink Floyd等），但同时也始终保留着纯粹爵士的一面，并在他们的即兴创作与作曲风格上得到体现。比如他们音乐中有力的节奏，就极大程度扎根于当代爵士乐中几位知名鼓手的风格（如Ari Hoenig和Dan Weiss），或者受到许多欧洲乐手的熏陶（如Marc Ducret, Stéphane Huchard和Laurent Dehors）。
本次巡演为“法兰西月乐约”活动内容之一。
关于法兰西月乐约（French Music Rendez-Vous/ French RDV）
法兰西月乐约是一个与Tsong Dao Prod合作的月度活动，目的是将来自法国的爵士乐与世界音乐每月带到 中国。这些乐手的遴选范围有Jazz Migration的入围者，Abroadfest的优胜组，Womex选拔赛以及法国爵士音乐奖……法国乐迷不会以貌取人，他们都是出色的乐团。
Tsong Dao Prod与以下机构有着密切合作：北京DDC俱乐部、深圳B10现场、西安音乐厅、哈尔滨大剧院、天津大剧院、上海JZ俱乐部等等。

Since its formation at the end of 2010, this band has built an electrical identity in a dynamic of musical research, going from a trio version to a recently set-up quintet.
Through a precise and scripted writing, the compositions are mixed with improvisations without transition as a whole moving energy and freedom. Steeped in rock, jazz and pop, the music is determined, take risks, and use suspense and happy ending in an expressionist goal.
The first album Split Moments, which was released in May 2014 on the Label Pince-Oreilles, allows the band to set an aesthetic of its own and to create a musical and human encounter with Éric Prost, which the reputation as a saxophonist is not to be proved. The album is acclaimed by the specialized press (JazzMag, The Chill Jazz Corner, CultureJazz.fr ...).
Even if the inspirations can come from the progressive music (King Crimson, Pink Floyd ...), the one of the Roman Baret remains resolutely Jazz, as much by the improvisation as by the color of the compositions. The strong rhythmic research, largely influenced by the drummers of the current jazz scene like Ari Hoenig and Dan Weiss, or of the european musicians like Marc Ducret, Stéphane Huchard and Laurent Dehors.
The show is one of the programs of French RDV.
About French RDV（French Music Rendez-Vous）
French Music Rendez-Vous is a monthly event coordinated by Tsong Dao Produc-tions aiming to present each month in China a jazz or world music band from France. The selection is including finalists from Jazz Migration, last sensation from abroad festivals, Womex selections, French Jazz Victory Awards… They are top-notch, cutty-edge bands and all French citizens despite of appearance.
Tsong Dao Prod is working on a regular basis with : Beijing DDC Club, Shenzhen B10 Club, Xi’an Concert Hall, Harbin Grand Theater, Tianjin Grand Theater, JZ Clubs and many more.
