That Real Oktoberfest Feeling
Paulaner Bräuhaus is bringing the experience of Oktoberfest to Beijing this fall.
Celebrating Bavaria's world-famous beer and folk festival, the Oktoberfest tent at Paulaner Bräuhaus Beijing will feature food, beer and evenings filled with a blend of authentic Bavarian experiences from yodeling, sing-along's, dance-along's and entertaining performances.
Paulaner Bräuhaus Beijing Oktoberfest 2018 will run from October 12-28.
Paulaner Bräuhaus Oktoberfest celebrates its 26th year anniversary in China, making it the first of the official, and authentic, Paulaner Bräuhaus to do so. Visiting and experienced patrons can expect true tent traditions like the first beer tapping ceremony during opening night, tapped from a classic wooden keg, huge Paulaner beer tankards and an evening filled with traditional food like pretzels, sausages and pork knuckles.
Adding to the international entertainment program is the Voigas Oktoberfest Band, providing comical interactive performances folk tunes originating from Bavarian classics, and the Munich Kleeblatt Showgirls, performing hypnotizing shows and instrument acts to interact with guests.
“As the first German hotel in Beijing, we are committed to making the Paulaner Bräuhaus Beijing an exciting destination, and this classic event will start it off in true Bavarian fashion to showcase an ever-growing interest in authentic celebrations" Managing director Brice Péan said in a statement. The Paulaner Bräuhaus Oktoberfest tent has been a preferred favorite of avid festival goers in Beijing for over 25 years. Over the years, the tent has attracted over 160,000 guests.
Paulaner beer is crafted using only four basic ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water. The “Oktoberfest Bier” is the special festive beer only available during the Oktoberfest. Wolfgang Sesser, the resident master brewer who has 19 years of experience from the Paulaner Brewery in Munich, guarantees that all his beers are brewed according to Bavarian Purity Laws, ensuring superior taste and quality glass after glass.
Festival goers are encouraged to come dressed in Drindl or Lederhosen, traditional Bavarian clothing worn during the event, to fully experience. Additionally, those wishing for an early day start to Oktoberfest can experience a special Oktoberfest Brunch, every Sunday, October 14, 21 and 28. Those who want an Oktoberfest feel can also expect live-band performances during brunch as well.
