“在报纸上”，用 in 还是 on？ | 语法解密

结果大部分人都做错了，看来这个问题有必要讲讲。

I’ve read his story (…) the newspaper. 

我在报纸上看到他的故事。

“在报纸上”到底用介词 in 还是 on，我相信很多人都搞不清，下面就给大家明确一下：

1. 出现在报纸内容里的东西，用 in

2. 放在报纸上面的东西，用 on

比如：

1. What’s in the newspaper today?

今天报纸上有什么新闻？

2. I read an article in the newspaper.

我在报纸上读到一篇文章。

（上面两句描述的是出现在报纸上的内容）

1. Put your hands on the newspaper.

把手放在报纸上。

2. There is a pair of glasses on the newspaper

报纸上放了一副眼镜。

所以回到上面，I’ve read his story (…) the newspaper. 这里不是描述方位，而是讲报纸文章里的内容，所以要用 in。

顺便补充一点，“在电视上”，要用 on 还是 in 呢？比如：

I watched the interview (…) the TV.

我在电视上看到这段访谈。

括号里填 on 还是 in 呢，大家可以先思考一下。

下面公布答案：

看到谁/节目在电视上，要用 on，on TV 指“电视播放的内容”，on the TV（加了 the） 表示“在电视机上”，如果 in the TV，意思为“在电视机里面”。

例如：

1. I love to watch news channels on TV.

我喜欢看电视里的新闻频道。

2. Press the button on the TV, please.

请按一下电视机上的按钮。

3. A bug is found dead in the TV.

在电视机里发现一只死虫子。
