►含义

Don't waste things and you'll always have enough

不浪费东西，那么你什么都不会缺。

►例句

Hey, don’t throw away these plastic bags in case you need them next time. Remember, waste not, want not.

别乱丢这些 塑料袋，以防下次用得到。记住，不浪费则不匮乏。

►对话

A: My grandfather is thrifty. He keeps a bountiful life without spending much money.
