I'm not going to stand here and bullshit you about this being a fantastic time to graduate.
今天我不会站在这里忽悠你们，说现在是毕业的绝佳时机。
I know virtual graduations aren't the celebration that you envisioned. But the world is in a crisis. This coronavirus is unbelievable.
我知道虚拟毕业不是你们期望的庆祝方式，但是世界正处在危机之中。
But nomatter how much damage this coronavirus does around the globe, let me beclear-the coronavirus can't erase your success. No way.
这个新冠病毒让人无语，但不管瘟疫在世界上造成多大破坏，让我申明一点——新冠病毒不能抹去你们的成功，没门。
I can promise that this virus won't be the last obstacle that you face. But it can help you prepare for the next one.
我向你们保证，这个病毒不会是你们面对的最后障碍，但它能让你更好地迎接下一个障碍。
That'swhat life is all about-overcoming obstacles. Throughout your whole life, you'll see obstaclesbeing thrown in front of you like that.
这就是生活的意义——克服障碍。在你的一生中，你们会遇到无数像那样的障碍。
Let me tell you a brief story about the biggest obstacle that I faced,just two years ago, I woke up 16 hours later instead of four hours （Later）.
让我告诉你们两年前我面对的最大一个障碍。我在做完心脏手术后16个小时才苏醒，而不是4小时。
And there was a tube sticking out of my mouth. And then the doctor movedforward and he took the tube and ripped it out of my throat.

And I was coughing violently and he says, "Justkeep coughing." "And thenlet us tell you what happened."
我当时剧烈地咳嗽，医生却说：「继续咳，咳完了我再告诉你怎么回事。」
So then he told me they had to do an emergencysurgery, that something went wrong during this kind of non-invasive procedure. And then it became very invasive.
接着医生又告诉我他们必须要做一个紧急手术，因为在进行非侵入式操作时出了差错，接下来真成了侵入式。
They said they broke through the heart wall andthere was internal bleeding and I could have died.
他们说他们捅破了心脏壁，出现了内出血，我可能会死掉。
Now all of a sudden I had to go and make myself get out of the bed and start walking with thewalker.
突然他们又叫我从病床上爬起来，借助拐杖开始步行。
I did the first 10 steps like an old man. But I'lltell you one thing. My usual principles worked. Because I was visualizing right away that I'm going to be on the date,August 1st, I will be on the set and I will be shooting Terminator.
我像一个老人那样迈出最开始的10步。但是我要告诉你们一点，我一贯的原则起作用了，因为我马上憧憬着我将于8月1号回到片场拍摄终结者6。
The reason why I'mtelling you all this is because no matter how successful you are, life willthrow obstacles in your path like it was with my heart surgery or like withyour graduation now.
我之所以告诉你们这些是因为，无论你多么成功，生活总会在你的道路上布下障碍。就好像我的心脏手术，或者你们现在的毕业。
But if you have a very clear vision like I talkedabout earlier, of exactly what you want to do, and who you want to be, you cango and find a way around all of those obstacles.
但是如果你们有着清晰的愿景，正如我前面所谈到的，你到底想做什么，到底想成为什么样的人。你就能找到方法绕过这些阻碍。
Ask yourself, who do you want to be? Not "what", But"who". You see, a disaster can change what you are. It can steal yourjob and force you inside. But it is who you are that rises in the faceof adversity.
问问自己“到底想成为什么样的人”——不是“什么”，而是“什么人”。你们要明白一场灾难能改变一个人，它能夺走你的工作迫使你待在家里，但是让你面对逆境振作起来的是你的内在品质。
Marcus Aurelius, who was the great emperor in the Gladiator movie, and who was one of the greatest minds among the Roman emperors, hesaid, "What stands in the way becomes the way."
角斗士电影中的伟大皇帝马科斯·奥里利乌斯是众多罗马皇帝中最有思想的一位，他曾说过：「谁挡在我路上我就要把谁变成路。」
You are celebrating that journey today. Not just a piece of paper that youhang on the wall. This is nothing. We all have these pieces of papers.
你们今日庆祝的是一段旅程，而不是一张用来挂在墙上的纸。他什么都不是，我们都有好几张这种纸。
But let's be honest, this celebration, by the way,is not the end. Yes, it is the end of this particular chapter, but it is thebeginning of your next climb.

It's time to celebrate now. Be in the moment, enjoy,go all out. Yes, of course. But tomorrow, when this is allover, it is time to start developing your vision, and it's time to startclimbing towards that vision.
