“学而时习之，不亦说乎？”
Is it not pleasant to learn with a constant perseverance and application?
“习”字，古时上为羽，下为日，
“习”(learning) used to be composed of two parts with “羽”(meaning feathers) on the top and “日”(meaning days) at the bottom.
代表鸟儿日复一日学习飞行。
It represented birds’ day-to-day practice of flying.
《论语》开篇讲“学而时习”，
The Analects of Confucius starts with “to learn with a constant perseverance”.
不仅仅是讲“学”这件事，
The saying is not only about learning,
更是讲“习”这种坚持。
But also about the perseverance that “习”represents.
滴水穿石，
Constant dripping wears away a stone.
再繁复的世界，
No matter how complicated the world is,
都会逐渐清晰。
It becomes clearer to us after all under unremitting exploration.
在传承里生活
