到今天为止这个乐队发表了两张EP。«Lighting» (灯光) (2016) 和 «Atlas» (阿特拉斯) (2017)。«Atlas» (阿特拉斯) 继续着 «Lighting» (灯光) 的行程。第一张EP的主题是观察到了什么，第二张EP主要集中在观察者身上。像一个旅客或者信徒，这个观察者在这个世界里行动，也找方向。他担心，难以定位自己，渴望陪伴。乐队自己说：“«Atlas» (阿特拉斯) 上的曲子深入研究恐惧，我们对它的处理，还有它怎样影响和确定我们的道德和逻辑。我们的歌要求放下恐惧，而去追求有意义的东西。有些是对抗恐惧的主导歌。它们表达的是应该想到未来，但不要担心到病。”从«Lighting» (灯光) 的发表以后 Odd Beholder 有很多行动。乐队在欧洲巡演，其中在重要的 Showcase Festival 有演出：瑞士的 M4Music，德国的 Reeperbahn Festival，英国的 Great Escape。他们的第一首单曲«Landscape Escape» 在 Spotify 上火热播放：被点击听120万次。这首歌的音乐视频在阿塞拜疆拍摄，作品取得2016年最佳瑞士音乐视频之奖。.

The duo develops their music from miniatures. Their debut EP "Lighting" features choir arrangements that range over three octaves and eerie field recordings. Daniela Weinmann wrote her songs in the flat of the artist Curdin Tones in Amsterdam. The final recording sessions took place in Berlin. Their live sound is characterized by minimalistic drum programming and analogue synth sounds. The video for their single "Landscape Escape" was shot by the Berlin film maker Grambow + Kirchknopf in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Social & Modern Dance Association. Odd Beholder were signed by Mouthwatering Records in 2016. The artist duo Taiyo Oronato and Nico Krebs contributed the artwork for the EP. Their debut will be released on May 13th.

Odd Beholder is a pop music duo that’s based in Zurich. If there is a dream in their pop, then we should rather call it a lucid dream.
