This new body of work culminated over the past five years since becoming a mother of two in 2012 and 2013, respectively. 

Ember Swift 是一位加拿大音乐家和歌曲作者，自1996年以来通过自己的独立品牌《Few'll Ignite Sound》发布了12张专辑和1个DVD项目。她最近的专辑“Sticks＆Stones”（2017）收录了三类歌曲：成人歌曲;儿童歌曲;和人类最后的赞歌，最后的赞歌是Ember认为该自成一派的一类歌曲。Ember自2012到2013年相继成为两位孩子的母亲后，她的创作热情更是达到了一个高潮。

This is Ember's third release since moving to Beijing in 2008 and it demonstrates how music can serve as a bridge between the two divergent cultures: East and West. Fluent in Mandarin and French, Ember sings in all three languages (including English) and the band includes the Chinese traditional instrument (erhu) alongside of Western contemporary instruments. Couple this with Ember's signature elastic-jazz vocals, eclectic music styles, and poignant, astute lyrics, and this "folk" artist becomes hard to categorize but impossible to forget.  
这是Ember自2008年搬到北京以来的第三个版本，它演示了音乐如何成为东方和西方两种不同文化之间的桥梁。Ember以流利的普通话，法语和英语三种语言演唱，乐队包括中国传统乐器（二胡）和西方当代乐器。将这一点与Ember标志性的爵士声乐，不拘一格的音乐风格以及凄美敏锐的歌词相结合，使得这位“民间”艺术家难以归类又过耳不忘。

Styles on this album include jazz, folk, gypsy, rock, R&B, electronic, pop, folk and even Klezmer. The band, assembled in Beijing, includes America’s Anthony Vanacore on the drums, Ukraine’s Taras Korkots on bass, Canada’s Gabriel Beaudoin on electric guitar, Israel’s Yoav Volansky on keys, and China’s Wang Ya Qi on the erhu. 
这张专辑的风格包括爵士，民谣，吉普赛，摇滚，R＆B, 电子，流行，民谣，甚至Klezmer. 乐队在北京组建，包括美国的鼓手Anthony Vanacore, 乌克兰的低音提琴手Taras Korkots，加拿大的电吉他手 Gabriel Beaudoin, 以色列的键盘手 Yoav Volansky, 以及中国的二胡王亚奇。
