After getting a bachelor's degree at the prestigious NTNU jazz department in 2014, he's been performing all over the world and releasing critically acclaimed records with Espen Berg Trio, Wako and The Fjords. He has played with legends such as John Tchicai, Arve Henriksen, Tore Brunborg and John Paal Inderberg, and in 2018 he will play concerts in the Faroe Islands, Greece, Estonia, China, Denmark, France, Iceland and Portugal. Bárður's style of playing is melodious and rhythmical, and characterized by intense listening and interacting with his bandmates.
