Originally from Warsaw, Poland, Rafał Sarnecki is a jazz guitarist and composer currently living in New York. In the 12 years that Rafal spent living in the Big Apple he has become one of the most sought after jazz composers of his generation. As a leader of his own projects Rafal has toured 11 European countries, China, Chle, SouthKorea, Israel, Malaysia and the East and West Coast of the US. He has shared the stage with many top names from the US jazz scene including: Joel Frahm,Ingrid Jensen, Willie Jones III, Gary Thomas to list a few.

He has recorded 3 CDs as a leader. The debut album Song From a New Place (2008) was nominated for the Fryderyk 2009 Award, the Polish equivalent of a Grammy. Rafal's second album,The Madman Rambles Again, was released in 2011 by the Fresh Sound New Talentlabel. Dave Sumner from All About Jazz selected the album as among the 12 most interesting jazz releases of 2011 in the Editor's Choice section. Additionally, Hi-Fi magazine selected The Madman Rambles Again as among the best jazz albums of 2011. In August 2014 Rafal's third CD Cat's Dream was released by the Brooklyn Jazz Underground Records.

Alto-Sax: Nathaniel Gao (US)
Nathaniel Gao is a saxophonist and composer who has been based in Beijing since 2006. He has been a keycontributor to the local jazz scene as both a co-leader of the quintet Red Handas well as a leader of his own quartet and trio. Additionally, Gao has been active in an eclectic range of other musical projects including Three Sergeants Syndrome, The Beijing City Big Band, Afrokoko Roots and Bu Yiding. He has performed at the Ninegates Festival, the MIDI Jazz Festival, the Ditan Park Music Festival, the Chongqing Jazz Festival, Jarasum Jazz Festival and at major venues in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu. Gao graduated from UNI in 2006 with BA in music performance and in 2011 completed an MA in jazz performance at the City College of New York.
Nathaniel Gao，2006年以来活跃在北京爵士音乐界的萨克斯演奏家和作曲家。作为“红手”五重奏乐队的成员之一和他自己的四重奏和三重奏乐队的主导者，THAI HANG 为北京爵士音乐做出了重要贡献。此外，他还积极参与了其他风格和流派的音乐活动，包括“Three Sergeants Syndrome”、“北京城市大乐队”、Afrokoko Roots 和 “不一定” 等音乐团体。他参与了“九门音乐节”、“迷笛爵士节”、“地坛音乐节”、"重庆爵士节"、"海龟岛国际音乐节"等重要演出。THAI HANG 于2006年获得美国北艾奥瓦大学音乐表演学士学位，于2011年获得纽约城市学院爵士演奏硕士学位。
Piano: Michał Ciesielski (PL)
Michał Ciesielski（波兰）, 音乐创作人，爵士钢琴家，毕业于格但斯克音乐学院（波兰），获爵士音乐硕士学位，主攻爵士编曲和爵士钢琴。同时在卡托维兹爵士学院（波兰）进修一年。
Michał Ciesielski 曾经创作了近百首现代音乐，电影音乐和流行音乐等等，他曾在国内外多个音乐节获奖，例如：“克日什托夫·科米达”国际编曲大赛，“大天空”爵士节，“RCK 专业爵士节”，等等。Michał Ciesielski 作为“Confusion Project”的负责人，录制了3张专辑，参与了超过100场音乐会表演。他与很多乐队合作演出，如 Ad Shave、Alicja Serowik 四重奏、Visegrad 四重奏、Tribute To Turnau、Gaba Janusz 四重奏，并有独奏项目“黑白之间”。他也与很多欧洲知名音乐家合作演出，作为一位专业的钢琴家，在波兰、德国、英国、意大利、荷兰、俄罗斯、中国等舞台登场演出。
Michał Ciesielski (Poland) is a composer, arranger and jazz pianist. He completed his studies in the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he received his master’s degree as a jazz composer and jazz pianist. He also studied for a year in the Institut of Jazz in Katowice.
He has composed almost one hundred compositions (contemporary music, film and theatre music, chamber and symphonic music as well as pop songs and many more). He was awarded in several international and national music competitions such as: the International Krzyszt of Komeda Composition Competition, Big Sky Jazz Festival, RCK Pro Jazz Festival, School & Jazz Festiwal, Novum Jazz Festival, European Jazz Contest and many more.
Apart from being the leader in Confusion Project, with which he recorded 3 albums and played over 100 concerts, Michał performs in many other bands, such as: Ad Shave, Do Se Sajd, Visegrad Quintet, Tribute To Turnau, Gaba Janusz Quintet, Aga Maciaszczyk Quintet. He also performs with his solo project “Between Black & White”
He collaborated with many musicians, such as: Maciej Sikała, Piotr Lemańczyk, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Krystyna Prońko, Maciej Grzywacz, Marcin Gawdzis, Grzegorz Nagórski, Cezary Paciorek, Marcin Jahr or Brian Fentress.
As a pianist Michał toured allaround Poland as well as Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Nederlands, Russia, China and Kazakhstan.
Bass: CHENHUAI WANG (CN)
CHENHUAI WANG began studying music at the age of 14, initially as a guitarist in my hometown of Tianjin, China. After high school Chenhuai attended the Contemporary Music Academy in Beijing where my focus turned to jazz and He began to study the double bass. Chenhuai influenced by the music of great musicians such as Charlie Parker, Charlie Haden, John Zorn and Steve Coleman who became huge impact on his musical content. In 2008 I started undergraduate studies in jazz at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, Netherlands, graduated with full scholarship in 2013. Upon graduation in 2014 He returned to Beijing to focus on performing. In 2015 Chenhuai began graduate studies in Jazz Performance at Queens College. he had the opportunity to study with Antonio Hart, Ralph Peterson, MichaelMoore, David Berkman, Paul Benner, Joe Martin, Dennis Mackrel, Michael Mossman, Joris Teepe, Christophe Lier, Etc. And Chenhuai have been to play with ErikTruffaz, Don Braden, Matthew Shipp, Ted Nash, Chris Washburne, Theo Croker,etc, in the past few years.

Anthony Vanacore（USA），纽约爵士鼓音乐家，是美国及世界各地的著名剧院舞台的常客，拥有多年的表演经验，同时也是一位热情并赋有传播精神的爵士鼓及打击器乐教育家，拥有丰富的教育和教材撰写经验，并经常受邀担任中国境内重大音乐比赛的评委。Anthony Vanacore 曾经与多位在世界范围内具有极广影响力的音乐家和乐队进行合作，其中包括 Moreno Donadel、高太行、张柯、谢燕辉、李晓川、顾忠山、李泉、J Kyle Gregory、Jaleel Shaw、Ted Rosenthal、Hendrick Meurkens、Vincent Herring、Laurent Maur、 Mark Turner、Michael Mossman、Laura Fygi、Kevin Harris、Rick Di Muzio、Richard Sussman、Ember Swift、Youngjoo Song、Jz 爵士大乐队、曼哈顿交响乐团、敦善交响乐团等。他目前是 MorenoDonadel 三重奏与 Blue Note 北京大乐队的成员。他曾参加许多爵士鼓活动，并跟来自各国爵士鼓大师，如 Billy Cobham、DaveWeckl、Thomas Lang 等同台演出。同时他也是沙宾(Sabian)镲片、Remo 鼓皮、Vater 鼓棒以及 Gretsch 鼓的代言人。作为一位抢手的现代舞音乐伴奏师，他曾到访过纽约多个知名演出场馆及俱乐部，如 Alvin Ailey School, Jose Limon at Peridance, Steps onBroadway, Marymount Manhattan College, Montclair State University 等。
Anthony Vanacore 从2015年开始在北京现代音乐研修学院爵士乐系任教，并定居于北京。此前，自2012至2014年，他曾于杭州师范大学钱江音乐学院与浙江艺术学院担任音乐教师。为了能让架子鼓，尤其是爵士架子鼓这门在中国偏小众且难度极高的乐器得到更好的普及，从2014年开始他便拍摄并制作了架子鼓教学系列的视频，并于网络和微信上于广大爵士爱好者和学生进行分享。这些视频受到了广大架子鼓爱好者的喜爱，其中很大一部分观众——无论是成人还是孩子——都开始喜爱上这件乐器，并从他的讲授中受益。视频一经传播，目前点击率已达数十万。目前，Anthony Vanacore 是微信公众号“爵士乐盟”的固定撰稿人及架子鼓教学视频主持人。在教学领域，Anthony Vanacore 不断钻研架子鼓与中国学生的融合度，一直致力于开发适合中国高校学生的完善的教学体系，独创了专门针对中国学生音乐理论等各方面训练的教程，旨在短时间内让学生迅速达到专业水准。该体系受到师生一致的高度评价。安咚咚也经常受邀担任全国各地打击乐比赛评委，包括北京国际鼓手节，浙江省打击乐比赛，山东省打击乐比赛等。
Anthony Vanacore 能说一口流利的中英文，并从未间断地为自己的音乐梦想拼搏，希望能架起中美两国间音乐文化间的友谊桥梁，并培养出一大批跨国界的音乐人才。
Anthony Vanacore 毕业于美国新泽西蒙特克莱尔州立大学 (Montclair State University) 音乐学院，获专业表演学士学位；2010年毕业于纽约市皇后学院 (QueensCollege)，获得爵士乐表演专业硕士学位。他曾师从多名爵士鼓大师，其中就包括 Gene Jackson (钢琴大师 Herbie Hancock 的鼓手) 与 Billy Hart (爵士小号巨人 Miles Davis 的鼓手)。
Anthony Vanacore is a New York City native born musician who has performed around the world and has rich experiencein performance and education; he currently resides in Beijing, China. Anthony received his bachelors degree in music performance with a concentration onpercussion from Montclair State University in 2007, and masters degree in jazz performance with a concentration on drum set from the City University of New York Queens College in 2010. Anthony currently holds a position at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy teaching drum lessons, ensemble classes and drum and jazz history courses entirely in Mandarin Chinese. To date Anthony has performed with many world-class musicians and bands including J Kyle Gregory, Vincent Herring, Jaleel Shaw, Ted Rosenthal, Hendrick Meurkens, Laurent Maur, Mark Turner, Michael Mossman, Laura Fygi, Kevin Harris, Rick Di Muzio, Richard Sussman, Ember Swift, Youngjoo Song, Moreno Donadel, Nathanial Gao, Zhang Ke,Terence Hsieh, Li Xiao Chuan, Lawrence Ku, Li Quan, Jz Big Band, Manhattan Symphonie, Dun Shan Wind Orchestra and many others. Anthony has participated indrum festivals with master drummers from around the world including Billy Cobham, Dave Weckl, Thomas Lang and many others. Anthony is proud to have beena student of many fine teachers and mentors among them Gene Jackson, Michael Lipsey, Billy Hart, Steve Johns, Sam Ulano, Glenn Weber and Noel Sagerman.
