Last Monday, we asked our readers to share their feelings and stories about their favorite superstars that have passed away.  Many followers remembered these stars by expressing their warm feelings of love and sadness in their comments. Read these words, and you will find that we all have memories we want to cherish from previous eras.

Graves are the final destinations for everyone, and all shining superstars will fall one day. Nevertheless, our passion and affection can't be extinguished even when stars disappear, because their masterpieces encompass our emotions and memories, and they represent certain eras of our lives.

@MILK

In my heart, even though they disappeared, they are still my superstars. Especially, Leslie Cheung was a handsome guy. I still remember him with much affection. I often called him "Gege". Every year on April 1, I miss him very much.

When Leslie Cheung was quite active in the 1990s, it was a golden age for Hong Kong's entertainment industries. Many prominent singers and performers thrived at that time. Another highly sought-after fallen star was Wong Ka Kui, the leader of the band Beyond.

@浅吟

I do love Beyond even though I was born after 1990. Their songs are full of inspiration and resonance. 海阔天空 is one of the most amazing songs.

The Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng became famous much earlier, even before the Chinese Mainland's opening up. At first, her songs were criticized as "decadent music", but many young people loved them and listen to her tapes secretly.

@A durable thread

I've grown up hearing her sweet voice and love immersing into that realm where everything was portrayed in an unparalleled charm and I enjoyed a particular tranquility. Her sudden death was undoubtedly a huge loss for many in the musical field but she seems to have never stayed far from us because her appealing image is perpetually rooted in our hearts and keeps growing larger and greater!

@ Listen The Fong must be a big fan of kung fu films. His favorite star is Bruce Lee. As an authentic fighter, not only did Bruce Lee "show" kung fu on screen, but he also practiced the spirit of Chinese kung fu in his career.

@Listen The Fong

His movies influenced me a lot. He gave me the power to overcome the difficulties in life through his movies. His philosophy taught me to try to express myself honestly. He was not only my idol but also my teacher.

Last year, Christina Grimmie, an extremely young singer in America was shot to death. @祝思航 is fond of her and her death astounded him.

@祝思航

She had an amazing, magnetic and special voice which attracted me immediately the moment I heard it. She usually covered various popular songs which gave rise to many affections and attention of her audiences. It was so shocking and sudden that I couldn't believe she was gone. May her pure and beautiful soul rest in peace.

Likewise, an elderly star Leonard Cohen died in 2016. He initially gained prestige due to his poems and novels, but then he began to write and sing songs. As a result of his poetic lyrics, he was called the Lord Byron of Rock-and-Roll.

@Kelly

Leonard Cohen is my favor singer. Every time I listen to his songs, I can find a peaceful place for my heart. His voice is so gentle and elegant that there was a period I could not fall asleep without his songs.

There will always be rookies in the entertainment industry, but those who're legends never really leave our soul. Regardless we will always remember our favorite stars, regarding it as a ritual to recall our youth.
