How time flies! Like it or not (according to one provincial sports bureau at least) those born before 1982 are officially listed as "seniors" now.

The bureau, in Liangshan county, has advertised for "seniors" to play in a soccer tournament. Anyone age 35 or over may apply.

Don't giggle if you're a part of the post-90s generation! There's a good chance that you too might soon have a midlife crisis and start going bald.

Hair loss has become a major health concern for many youngsters, who are filling their shopping baskets with hair-restorer ahead of the 'Double 11' online shopping festival.

Still can't accept the harsh reality? Check to see if you're experiencing these early signs of going bald. ↓↓

  • You're always annoyed by the wispy strands dangling around your forehead.

  • Your hair thins around your hairline, which is gradually extending back to the crown.

  • You can easily gather clumps of hair after you get out of bed.

  • You see much of your scalp in the mirror.

Cherish your luscious locks while you still have them, or you'll be filled with remorse once they've all fallen out!

A survey once found that about 200 million people suffer from some sort of hair loss in China. Here are four possible reasons why:

Physical or emotional strain

Late-night shifts of work or the flu can trigger a cascade of hormones that disrupt your hair growth cycle. Stress also prompts your brain to pump out certain hormones that causes your hair to fall out.

Tightly pulled-back hair

Many women will make their hair loss worse by pulling it back tightly and tying it in a bun or ponytail at the back. Pigtails and braids can also contribute to this kind of hair loss, which is known as traction alopecia.

Genetics

If you have a history of balding in either of your parent's families, then it's more likely you'll go bald. Balding is also more prevalent in men than it is in women.

Being anemic

If you are deficient in iron, then your blood isn't full of all the nutrients that you need. This means your hair doesn't get the nutrition it needs either and could become weaker and potentially fall out quicker.

The good news is that the witty post-90s generation have come up with various methods to stay healthy:

1

Potted plants on your desk can help alleviate stress from overwork.

2

Try a cup of wolfberry tea and a humidifier for each of your hands.

3

Forget the celebrity gossip and replace it with a health regimen. Write down any top tips you hear in a notebook.

4

Wear long johns that have been buried in a closet for many years to prevent arthritis on rainy days.

As for you millennials, don't think this doesn't apply to you. Your hair will start falling out soon, too — it's only a matter of time!

Which stage are you at right now?
