Bereaved of her twin sister Ava, septuagenarian Ada solitarily marks time in the patterns of a life built for two. However, a traveling carnival and a trip to a mirror maze plunges her into a journey across the thresholds of life and death. Set in a landscape of the New England gothic, Ada / Ava uses a story of the fantastic and super natural to explore mourning and melancholy, self and other.
年逾七旬的艾达，失去了她的双胞胎姐妹艾娃。在孤寂中，她回顾着过往两人的生活。一场突如其来的巡回狂欢节，让她走进了一个镜子做的迷宫，陷入了一段跨越生死两界的旅程。故事背景设置于弥漫着哥特气息的美国新英格兰地区。《双生姐妹》没有台词，全靠数百件偶戏道具、真人演员、现场音乐来呈现。

Spoken word drama Wotou Guild Hall, by the Beijing People's Art Theater, is being staged at the Capital Theater in Beijing. This story of old Beijing, circa 1948, was written to mark the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China's founding. Performed in the authentic Beijing dialect, the play shows the struggle of life at the bottom of the heap.
北平解放的前一年——1948年的夏天、秋天和冬天。南城一个号称“窝头会馆”的小四合院里，住着几户挣扎在社会底层的小市民。他们形形色色而性格迥异，有的爱钱如命，有的谈吐刻薄，有的心胸狭窄，有的猥琐木讷，有的病入膏肓，有的隐私诡异……在黎明前的黑暗之中，这些小人物穷困潦倒，饱受苛捐杂税、物价飞涨、恶人横行等等社会弊病的折磨，却在绝望之余对未来怀着深深的期待与憧憬。

剧情简介：
Scenes from a Marriage is a 1973 Swedish Television miniseries written and directed by Ingmar Bergman and starring Liv Ullmann and Erland Josephson. The story explores the disintegration of the marriage between Marianne, a family lawyer specializing in divorce, and Johan, spanning a period of 10 years.

The Cherry Orchard is the last play by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov in 1903. Chekhov described the play as a comedy with some elements of farce, though its first director, Konstantin Stanislavski treated it as a tragedy.
初春的黎明，旅居巴黎多年的女地主柳苞芙带着女儿和仆人回到了自己的庄园。因六年前丈夫酗酒死亡，随后七岁的儿子掉进河里意外淹死，悲痛的柳苞芙离开家乡。她在法国耗尽了自己的财产，却一直保留着贵族的生活方式。眼下，这座有着漂亮樱桃园的庄园即将被拍卖用来抵债…… 贵族，地主，大学生，佣人，商人……所有人都在等待樱桃园最终的归属。庄园举办舞会，拍卖会落下了帷幕。出乎所有人意料的是，庄园内世代农奴的后裔——商人罗伯兴买下了庄园。 柳苞芙带着家人与仆人离开了庄园。在她们的身后，樱桃树正被一棵棵地砍伐……

The Father is a Naturalistic tragedy by Swedish playwright August Strindberg, written in 1887. This play expresses a recurrent theme in Strindberg: the state's marriage laws are often unjust, in particular when the law gives the husband rights while depriving the wife and mother.

Jonas Kaufmann is a German operatic tenor. He is best known for his performances in spinto roles such as Don José in Carmen. In 2014 The New York Times described Kaufmann as "a box-office draw, and... the most important, versatile tenor of his generation".
